I was playing the other day and I noticed when I hit somebody at low percents while they were on the ground with an up tilt I could easily follow up with an up and b. Anyone else ever do this?

Yup, IIRC both uptilt and sh dair at low percents leave some characters with that weird flinch/stun animation that doesn't knock them away and allows a quick up B. Other setups are jab cancel, dash attack (follow with jab cancel), or sh fair/uair without the last hit in.

Yeah you can go from falling uair to up b, dair to up b, falling uair to utilt then up b. It only works at low percents though.

Fair doesn't work all the time does it? Is the jab cancel the same in brawl as it was in melee (crouch and hold diagonally back and down). Up air is a horrible idea I don't see why people continue to use this the best part of the hitbox is above you there is literally no spacing when you fall down on people meaning that anything can outspace it.

As for the fair, you have to cancel it with a fast fall before its last hitbox (the one with knockback) connects, and it most likely can be perfect shielded out of.. not really a true combo I don't think..

Jab cancel in Brawl is just tapping down at the last few frames of the jab animation, which with Samus can help set up for dsmash and dtilt because of the buffer system.

As for falling u-air I agree, I don't really use it as an approach but I vaguely remember back in the day either HugS or Hylian said that falling uair is one of Samus's better air-to-ground approaches.. Didn't really see the logic behind that.

It's one of her better air-to-ground approaches because the uair has high priority, multi-hit, and the hitbox covers almost her whole body. You can't be predictable with it though. I can throw it out when running or dropping through a platform, but otherwise, it's too easy to see coming.

Her fair is a low priority, disjointed hitbox, meaning it can hit through more things than uair, but won't go through other disjointed hitboxes. I don't like using it that much because the hitbox moves, which makes placement harder. If it were more like Ness' I would like it tons more. You have to use the attack early so that the flame is pointing at 330 degrees in order to combo with it on a grounded opponent. Since you have to use the attack early, it's easier to see coming and thus, easier to shield grab.

uair>utilt- does not work unless you are literally on top of them

utilt>up-B- it could work, but if your opponent gets sent flying even a tiny bit, screw attack will miss.

Screw Attack is an all purpose combo finisher, it's so amazing. I can spam it to the point where my opponent hates it more than zair/missile spam.

I completely disagree. Up air only has good priority if your hitting from below. Fair does have a moving hitbox but as a samus player you should know how to hit with it still. It's also improved since last game since you can juggle them with that and up air, all the hits will actually hit, and it has a bit better knockback because it actually hits them off the ground.

As for utilt>up and b comment yeah your right, thats why I said it works only at lower percents.

Fair is about the timming u can cancel move to lead to other things if don't hit with last part ie Fair into down tilt or down smash or up b and uair if canceled correctly can lead to falling uair combos ie uair to up b or charge shot.
