ok, part of this has been talked about but i actually have killed people with it, i'll put a vid up later, but i only have one kill with this... but wht u do is u run to the ledge and when u run off, up-b.... you should grab the ledge with 2 pikmin but your be above the stage... next wait a split second, then press down... what should happen is you chain cancels and you grab the ledge. I killed a MK with this when he f-b and i grabed the ledge from above. the reason this is useful is because its similar to having longer invincibilty frames on the ledge. you grab the ledge, and if ur opponent is below the stage they can't get the ledge since your pikmin chain has the ledge, and they have nothing to atk to get you off the ledge, and then you can press down to quick grab the ledge to add a longer duration of a edge hog this is pretty easy to do and i'll hopefully upload a vid soon, i have one repaly but i gotta get a cam so i can tape the replay.

your know you did it right cus ur grab ledge with chain, then quic grab ledge with ur body... hope this is useful

ummmmmmmm, not quite up-b ledge hog... its the fact that you take up the ledge for longer periods of time whie being seemingly invincible.

and i mis-spelled lol quick.... but you know you do it right because your be above the ledge while the chain is occupying the ledge, and then before you fall you press down and your quick grab the ledge. it will sound like you grab the ledge twice in less then a second

it's basically the same, but before you fall you let go of the ledge with the pikmin and you grab the ledge

I've done this i have gotten more negatives than positive i can get if from above but there have be a few times when they hit me before i pushed up and knocked me off of my pikmen chain but it is so nice when a ZSS intercepts me and i grab the ledge from above before her and she dies..... lol good times XD

yea asob, thats correct, i haven't seen anyonedo the ledge grab from the chain, i knew that pressing down made you drop but i never tried it from above the ledge

you can't really be hurt since your above the ledge so i don't know how u were hit, plus, u have a jump if anything does mess up

Cool technique, but I wouldn't use it against MK, lol. You don't want to be off stage or on the ledge against MK.

are you sure it was known? because i read anything that may be an AT for olimar and its known that u can grab the ledge from above, but i wasn't aware that you could quick grab the ledge from the chain
