Up-b stalling question?

Just a thought

I did have a look to see if this was asked (although i have to admit it was only a brief search!)

But since characters UP-B's now cancel when you get to the ledge, doesnt that mean that every character will potentially have an upb ledge stall?

And if invicibility frames are still in, does this mean some characters will potentially have invicible stalls aswell?

Sorry if it has been asked but i did have a brief look.

That is a very good question to raise. I could see this being possible, but honestly, it would be easy to identify this type of stall and simply ban it from play if that is what is needed.

Well, Ganon had an invincible ledge grab in Melee, but I don't think it was as effective as what you're suggesting.

I think Gimpy said dropping from ledges is weirder this time around
with the new speed of the game and the way characters sort of 'snap' to the edge I think you'd have to be further distance from the edge than in a Melee edgestall.
because of this you could be easily hit, or someone could quickly 'edge-hug' and grab the ledge first

i tried firefox stalling, and it worked, but not the same way it did in melee, or in the way you're speaking of. i really don't know how to explain it.
