I went back to play falcon. But only as a fun character. I wont dare use him in tournaments. I'd use Peach (duh) or sheik (just learned). Im starting to feel comfortable playing with other characters. Since all I use to play was Peach and touching others felt so weird.

So as I use Falcon as a fun character, I would like to get as good as I can with falcon. So im trying to learn all that I can do with him. and one thing I cant seem to do is drag people in the air with his Up air. at times when I hit with a certain angle it does not look like the character will fly in front of falcon. But when it hits it does. But then at times I try that and the character flys behind me. I have been at this for like 3 hours. every so often I can do like maybe 2. 3 tops. but I cant do 2 to a knee. Im in training mode trying this. what am I doing wrong and how am I suppose to do it? Thanks in advance for those that can help with advice

I think it really depends on percentages and how you hit them. If you hit them with the end of his feet it will of course send them out further, using it at a lower percent however will send them more horizontal than upwards. sorry if i'm completely off you could look at angelos sticky on falcon he has hitboxes for him.

Try in melee mode with time on infinity. This way you can try and use the c-stick. THat tends to help for me.

SHFFL it and Jump forward or backward before doing it. It will be easier to hit with another one. When you can't reach them with a Uair or if you think another Uair will blow your chances to finish the combo, then finish with a knee. Samus IMO is easiest to do.

It really is DI dependent. I think it'd be easier to chain Uairs if your opponent is either DIing up or towards your.

If it's in training mode then DI from the opponent is not the problem. I would say it's DI caused by you. Since you're in training mode, you have to use the analog to uair. This is much harder than c-sticking it, and it can cause uneeded DI on falcon, which in turn might mess up where you land the uair onto the opponent. If you hit them mid-body to foot they should go forward, anything above that they may get caught in the back swing as falcon wheels around, and fly backward.

So yea, like lolomgwtfbbq said, try doing in in normal melee with c-stick.

Also consider the % dmg on your opponent, because each character can be juggled with uairs at different %'s. You have to experiment to see. You can try ganon at 40-50% or marth at 30-45% (give or take on both). Just use nair or an up throw/down throw to launch them.
