Decided to make this since it's the 3rd biggest tournament this year.

MVG league will have English commentary and both streams will show different matches until Top 8.

The event is 2-day. Tonight is pools and Doubles up to Top 8, tomorrow is top 96 & double Top 8.

VoiD, NAKAT, and Shuton all cancelled. Shuton was sick and NAKAT/VoiD never disclosed why.

I just ultimately want a good show. The last Supermajors were way too weird for my taste.

Notable western competitors are Leo, M2K and Yura (mexican Corrin, beat 9B at KVO).
In the pools graphic there were a couple international flags, but those are the only ones I remember (probably the only notable ones).

I really want M2K to do well this time around~

Gungnir manages to make Ganondorf look viable, that was the best Ganon play I've ever seen.

Can't wait to see him tomorrow.

I saw the list and saw only one zard. When is his match coming up?

(btw did you see the latest watchmojo.com, they had another toxic game communities.....guess which got #4? Street Fighter got #10 surprisingly enough)

Reumina the Lucas beat Umeki the Peach in a 2-0 in losers.

Kimisan lost to Tsu the Lucario in winner's while Shuhito lost to him in loser's finals of his pool 1-2 after having to fighting Kimisan in a Lucas Ditto.

Taiheita and Agehasama made it to Top 96 while 6 Lucas mains did not make it out of pools.

Well accorging to pools Gungir is facing Abadango in top 96. Who has a pretty solid Bayo now...bad news for Gannon fans.

65-35 Sheik favour at best, it's honestly probably closer to 70-30. Sheik can break Link's zoning fairly easily, once she gets in Link has a lot of trouble getting out of disadvantage, and she edgeguards him nearly for free. You don't even have to know the matchup as Sheik to give the best Links a hard time or beat them outright.

Despite my extremely high opinion of Link, this is a matchup as bad as Mario-Sonic.

Ryogi is a Cloud and former Pikachu main, i believe he has a Diddy as well.
Evil Sesosodji is a Ryu main.

I can see Aba going Bayo vs Gungir and then possibly Kameme if he advanced in Winners

Gungir becasue..well come on.. the Bayo Gannon MU is like what...70-30 Bayo or even worse?...

I can see Aba also using Bayo vs Kameme if his Mewtwo isnt cutting it.
Kameme does kinda struggle vs Bayo regardless of the MU with his characters

Mewtwo does a lot better versus sheik, and Mewtwo IS his main, if he only uses Bayonetta the entire tournament, I will lose all hope in this competitive scene.

Aba, more than most top players, gets bored pretty quickly once he feels like he's figured out a character. He's more in it for play mechanics and winning than being a character loyalist or whatever.

Edit: honestly, using ultra light mewtwo against a god of reads like gugnir would make me clench if I wasn't feeling my Mewtwo was 100%.

Japanese RYO, iirc, uses Sonic.
Pikacchi, as the name suggests, is a Pikachu main (their twitter account is Pikamui tho, there could be a Corrin secondary but I wouldn't jump the gun there).
Es is a Bayo main who used to main ZSS, not sure if completely dropped tho.

Either way, losers' bracket looks like a tank full of sharks, electric eels, piranhas, medusae, and a lion.
