The direct is tomorrow? Sweetness. 5pm EST for me, so I'll be home for work for about 20 min before it starts.
If they do show Joker Gameplay, hopefully he's far enough along to be released next month (they didn't even have a model to show back when Piranha Plant was announced and it took him 2 months).

Hoping for a release in the 3rd week of March; just in time for Spring Break; a full week off work!

Some new weeaboo game we don't know about. They already confirmed FE:TH is in it.

I just don't keep up with JRPGs so I can't think of any such weeaboo game it could be.

No, no; I meant Joker. When they were showing off Planty, they had nothing for Joker (it was around the same time; his announcement I mean). All they had was a teaser; not even a character model.

Seeing it as it airs is awesome, but if there's a girl you're interested and you think you've got a shot, go with the girl 100%. I know it may be blasphemous to say here, but you can just watch the direct later; you don't want to blow a chance with someone you're into.

If you can watch with her then by all means
Honestly, if I was in the scenario I'd probably pick the girl, but my girlfriend (who I am proposing to this year...) is equally invested in the direct as I am so it's a non issue

If your girl is interested in games, try and convince her into watching it. If not, go for the girl. Joker gameplay can wait.
