ok

i don't like either banjo design

honestly imo they're both so... uncanny
the color scheme is garish too
like i'm not saying steve is a masterpiece in character design or something (he's literally 6 blocks) but goddamn you really can't say other characters look like **** when banjo looks like that lmao

Game mechanics are fine and vehicles are fun, but felt the level design and missions boring.

Of all the levels... I enjoyed Banjoland the most. A museum of classic (where’s Grunty’s Revenge or Pilot?!) architecture and designs mixed with some creative missions.

The music was good too.

Really? I think the smaller more “realistically” sized eyes are more uncanny than his N64 design

Tbh Rare was a great developer in the SNES and N64 days, and I like Banjo's design, but their tendency to make 3D model renders as official art has aged like **** imo.

Dunno, I dont like his N64 design. I like N&B design better but would be better if it was not as blocky.

Eyes in the middle ground of both designs would work better. Both are creepy.

Felt that missions in general ended up being too repetitive, race, fetch, destroy x thing. Would've dropped it if the vehicle part wasnt as fun.

Kirkhope and Shimomura are the best game composers and that's a fact.

Kirkhope made the Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack and it is wonderful with Shimomura they made the SMRPG soundtrack and I have to respect that, Beware the forest's mushrooms is a classic.

I actually really like Banjo's design from the legs up. The color scheme is nice and the 90s surfer motif is hilarious on a bear, but charming.

I don't like the bare bear feet though. Something off-putting about it. The hands I can get, for anthropomorphism purposes, but the feet are weird.

Kazooie's adorable though.

Hold up, fam, lemme add this real quick in the "Reasons Why Sakurai isn't a Savior Due to Ultimate's Soundtrack" folder.

While I haven't played this and STILL need to complete it, Mario + Rabbids is a shockingly good game. Kirkhope needs to be on more Nintendo-officiated projects, seriously.
