UCSC Smash?

Hey guys, I go to UCSC, College 9, and I've recently started playing all the 3 smashes. (I got into it cause I started playing SSB64 on my computer with an emu during lectures haha) and I've got a little experience with SSBM (I've only played like 5 or 6 games, FFA no items on Final Destination cause that's what my friends like) And SSBB a lot, I'm probably the best at SSBB. It seems like there's a bit of a community here, is anyone interested in playing? I'm looking to get better and make friends

me and justin and sheridan are good at melee, and sometimes super brian and aaron come over from SJ and salinas, respectively

plus kira's friend just talked to me awhile ago and he wants to start playing as well
so there's definitely stuff going on

Hey guys,
I'm trying to get better at Melee now.
Brawl is a game i've conquered, and I'm considered on of the best at UCSC.

I'm pretty busy this quarter. No Tuesday or Thursday smash at all unless it's after 10pm. Monday and Wednesday I have hockey at night and workout after lunch or so, so I can smash on campus those days for a couple hours only sometimes. Friday I'm free after like 4 or 5. I usually need to know a day in advance though in general, but you can AIM me anytime at 'Hyugalisk."

Beto I've been meaning to email you, I just haven't been sure of my future at UCSC until pretty recently. But I'm still down for Melee or Brawl smashfests.

Guns/10k, IIRC you guys live in Scotts Valley? Most of the time that smash happens it's either on campus in dorms or in my apt, but both those are pretty small locations and anything more than 4 people is really cramped. You guys would be welcome to come smash if we can work out a good time and location though.

I know, Filipino Justin (lol, funny how we refer to him as "filipino Justin") won't join us.
But he's too good, he'll kick my butt senseless like last time...
It'll give me time to get better, so that I can stand a chance.. haha!

But for sure, i'm really looking forward to this.

I want to invite my friend Khiry, but Melee is not his game.
He'd rather stick to Brawl. I'll see.....

But anyhow, I hope to get better some time in the future.
I want to start heading to Melee tournaments,
and possibly even placing well on them.

Haha, was it 5? I thought we were going to come over at like 3:15 or something, because Joe gets out of a class at Oakes at 3:10 or so, and my research group meeting is usually over at 3. If it's 5 though that's probably fine as Joe and I can go to the gym after class and before Smash. Either way I guess you'll hear from one of us in the afternoon, see you soon.

BTW, I also am wanting to improve my Brawl game, so I'm down for that whenever also.

Actually, I think 3:30pm is a lot better. I'm going home for the weekend, and my mom is to come pick me up around 7-8pm, it'll give me more time to pack my things for the weekend.
I say come on over at 3:30pm.

Anything is fine with me, really. Just give me a heads up when you're coming.

My space is too small to have smashfests, it's always at someone else's place. Sheridan has my TV.
