we are working on gettin a venue at UCI but between me being lazy right now and zhu not wanting to put the effort into it, nothing is getting done

how much is that room going to cost you, and did you need to form a club to get the room

Yeah, I had to form a club to get the room and there is no cost for using the venue according to my adviser. The maximum occupancy is actually 326 and plus we will be using mics and projector to coordinate the event better.

The only drawback is that we cannot officially give prizes in the form of cash. So I will have to give the prize money outside of the event (when the event is over). I am still required to give a prize like gift card or brawl to first place. lololololol

Alright! I just received approval for our new venue. Venue is going to be in the California Room.

California Room is right next to the Den, it's too easy to spot out...

20 tables and 100 chairs already provided in the room. + 8 outlets spread throughout the whole room. So expect a lot of space.

Probably no venue fees this time since it's our first time inside the California room. But perhaps next time.
