Uair and up b can be easily smash DI'd

It's obvious to some ppl but I always see combo vids where they never are DI'd. The last hit of the uair will rarely hit. If someone smash DI's the up b perfectly it leaves you vunerable since samus is floaty as hell. Just some bad news.

Usually the Screw Attack is too fast to intentionally Smash-DI. Most Samus players use it to beat out an opponent's attack.

But here's the big thing. DI changes from character to character. A Wario, G&W, Diddy Kong, Metaknight, or even another Samus might be able to DI out of it. But characters with terrible DI like Pit for example cannot.

Well that would explain why I was having a fun time DI'ing out of it all, but you can still escape samus' up b if you see the combo coming. Fair, dair, or dash attack is when samus players tend to use it as a follow-up

Eh, whenever I smash DI Samus' Screw Attack it only gets me to the edge. Even her Uair is inescapable for Pit's DI unless you Smash DI it. v_v Pit's DI blows. lol

uhhh DI vs uair can be fine for samus, since it'll usually get you hit by another attack since Uair is very quick.

Easy answer to that. Mix up your attacks.

Geez Chrome... the next thing we know, you'll say that we can DI out of the tornado and drill rush. A properly executed one too, not some random B-button presses by some random newbie.

Why not just move during screw attack to counter your opponent's DI?
