I can't believe how many people don't have their own GC controllers. I use wiichuck and I have 3 GC controllers for christ sakes.

so I went everywhere except here & since both M@v & Chibo completely ignored me i'd figured i'll ask anyways
I wanna host a tournament dwn here in Lancaster for the Lancaster, York, Hburg, Hershey etc area but have almost no where to start, I read Tants blog on it & Xyro said he'll link me to a vlog wen he finishes (still isnt done).
Since no1 has done this here im a lil skeptical that the turnout may be too small so I wont have enough setups or I will have rented too big of a place
any tips on what I should do?

Don't get a place thats too big. Medium and even medium/small should be okay for now, especially if your area isn't too active.
I'd suggest looking into renting out a church hall. They're cheap as hell and are very spacious. Libraries can do tournies too although I only heard of one person doing this, and he gets to use the venue for free.
Yes went around to churches, game stores, and hotels asking for prices and times that the place can be used and he got something to work out within 2 weeks. Oh yeah, hotels are great too, they just may be pricey. I wouldn't rent anything that costs over $400 and probably not over $300.

My parents are moving into my grandmom's house soon -- like in the next month or two -- and possibly leaving our current house to me. If they do, I wouldn't mind letting you guys host small tournies here (after I do some major cleaning/painting/etc, because this place is a mess).
Obviously can't host anything major here, but for smashfests and small stuff, it might be an option.
