Is it a good idea to practice on 2/3 speed to get the timing of SHFFling down with Captain Falcon, then go on regular speed? I mean, if I can't even do it perfectly on 2/3 speed, whats the point of trying it 1x speed right?

Surely, if you practiced the timing in 2/3 speed you would have to practice more in normal speed afterwards, then up your speed and l-cancels to adjust so technically it would be making it harder for yourself

I'd say practice in normal speed, and only normal speed. Once you have the timing down for one character its so much easier to adapt to the others because you gain the understanding

Well, I think 2/3 speed training helped me get the rhythm of SHFFling a little bit, now I can do it on normal, I just had to speed up my button pressing a little bit. :D

If anything you should make sure to practice shffl after actually hitting someone because the time of the L-cancel does vary slightly. Especially with uair. Mess this up and your juggle is over.

yea...2/3 would make things difficult cause then you have to do it on full speed too....screws up timing

The only thing that slowed speed can probably help you with is moonwalking, which you probably shouldn't look into right now...

Other than that, as everyone else said, practice in normal speed so you don't mix yourself up.
