Tourney locator kinda sucks; what sm4sh venues are in southeast MI?

I have been looking for smash 4 tournaments in southeast michigan, but the tourney locator hasn't been very useful in finding much.

I know there are a lot more than listed on smashboards, so I'm wondering what they are.

Join Michigan Facebook groups, such as Michigan Melee and Michigan Smash 4.

There are quite a few tournaments listed in the MW listings. Just check out the tournament listings and sort by midwest. In addition, you can set preferences for your event search to be within X miles of you, so any tournament listed that meets that profile will be shown.

Like I said, there are many more than the ones listed on smashboards that I've heard about, but I'm not sure where they are located.

Can't really comment on tournaments that aren't listed. People point to Facebook but it's scattered and isn't something you can really navigate as a compendium - it would be nice if every event were listed here but even assuming some may be missing, the Smashboards listings has a ton that are posted.

For the event search, are you allowing geolocation to be used (must permit it from browser) - it's possible adblock or other third party services are blocking, in which case the site doesn't know your location and can't use the service.

I have geolocation permitted, and I don't have adblock in use.

Many facebook groups list events in the header or on a google calendar that aren't on this site, and vice versa, so you need to use both

if you're not finding anything in the events, make sure you're not filtering out the games you want to see. For some reason they made it so you check the games you don't want to see which seems opposite to intuition.
