Tournaments on Saturday

I was wondering why people mostly create tournaments on Saturday as opposed to Sunday.

It really sucks for me because I can only go on Sunday, but that is not the focus of the thread...

Anyway, mainly focusing on people who host tournaments, why did you choose Saturday over Sunday.

Cuz tourneys go late and then if they're on Sunday, people have to work/go to school the next day.

i agree i cant go every sat. lol sucks i wish they were sunday. most tournies go from 12-8 tho. sat would be the perfect day for anyone not in my situation i guess then XD cant wait for summer.

Tournaments sometimes last until the next day. (The last major FL tournament lasted until 7AM.) Plus, some people go to church, so they would not be able to attend one or two events on a sunday... At least that's the main excuse I've heard.

I run mine on Sundays. I have work every Sat. as do many HS/College kids who work retail or part time jobs. So Sunday works best for us. I end up missing a lot on Sat's, so I started up my own on Sunday.
