Actually, no. Ripple is my boy, but he lost 4 sets total at an SG weekly and monthly, to Mafia, Sora, and Darc, who play Peach, Marth, and C. Falcon, respectively.

He did lose to dart and kels but are you really gonna hold that against him when he won the next tournament after he got rest

I don't think Dart or Kels met in SFAT in the next tournament though. I mean, that's still on them for not reaching SFAT, but still.

K you're all taking this way further than my actual words. My observation was simple:

1. His Falcon is good

2. I think a couple of people are playing Falcon more optimally, including people that are not as skilled as he is overall (Weaker player overall, but more adept with the character. Not an impossible thing)

3. The correlation for this was probably that he was playing other characters a lot, and that he would grow more optimal by probably dropping many of those other choices


That's it. That is the total extent of what I tried, but apparently failed to properly say. There is no crusade to keep him off the list, there's no disregard of his skill or bias because he doesn't "main" the character. Just an honest opinion (that had more behind it than a blank statement) over how high you guys were likely ranking him. I thought we were allowed to do that without stirring up the deadly beginnings of a ****-Storm

Just a heads up guys (and I know I say this a lot), but I'll be very busy for the next two or so weeks. If I don't have the time on weekdays, I usually rely on free time on Sundays or staying up until like 3:00 am on a weekday and truck on the next day lol. Right now, I can't do either because of my schedule. I'm not giving up on this thread by any means, and even though I'll be busy these next few weeks, I'll still probably find some time to update it eventually (I'm aiming for Thursday hopefully).

I got 2nd place with Luigi and there are vids of me beating Drephen (Sheik), Papa (Ivy), SoulPech (Jiggz/Marth) and bracket resetting Carls493 (Wario) in grand finals. There are plenty other vids of great players on there as well including Prince Abu, Juushichi, and the players stated before.

Also shoutouts to 2jar at Sandstorm. It's nice to see more Weegee out there. I would be interested to talk to him about some of his matches, including the set against Westballz.

Edit - He seems a lot better than when I last played him on Wi-Fi (it was Wi-Fi so lel). He still picks the same option multiple times in some cases and makes some pretty amateur mistakes but he's looking a lot better.
