I can't be the only one who prefers Dragons when they aren't little girls, can I?

Shush, my dear Tiki. You where doing it before it was cool (and requiring eerily revealing clothes). And you're no little girl no more.

My Shulk amiibo finally came in the mail after months of waiting!

And what's this?!

Ahh....

...aaaahhhh....

Now I'm really feeling it! :4shulk:

Can't wait to try this out after I'm finished with FFVII.
Grats on the Shulk amiibo and game!
This your first time through VII or are you replaying it?
How far are you and how are you liking it so far?

Hello!

Your English is more than adequate to get the point across. Seriously, your grammar is immaculate when compared to the papers I've had to grade in my English class...and those are native speakers of the language.

I've always liked the name Daraen. Is the name different for the female Robin, though? I could very, very easily be mistaken, but isn't there a lack of gender-neutral names like Robin or Morgan in French, and isn't Daraen a masculine name?

Definitely consider playing some matches with these guys when you can! I promise that they'd be good training for you. I can personally vouch for the deadliness of @False Sense's Robin if you're looking to get some tips from a fellow Robin player.

And, while I'm no Robin player, I can certainly show you what tricks Pac-Man has up his sleeves. He's fun, I promise!
Thanks, it's the first time I come on an English forum so I didn't know if my English was OK or not. (Plus, English lessons in France doesn't help at all I think)

Female Robin is also called Daraen, and Robin and Morgan are more masculine names in France (but we also have Morgane for female, and btw, Morgan in France is called Linfan).
Daraen is just a fictive name, it doesn't exist in France neither for boys nor for girls (unfortunately I'd say, because I really like this name and I'd like to name one of my future child "Daraen" if that was the case XD )

And it's totally OK to play against your Pac-Man, I know only For Glory Pac-Man and... well, it's not the best to train the match-up.

Thank you everyone for your welcome !

Fae is the most op out of all manaketes.

that is, as long as her dragonstone is there.

I felt Myrrh was more OP from what I've played, but I've only played each game once and didn't even finish Binding Blade after reading that you need all sacred weapons to actually beat the game.

It's my first time playing FFVII, as you might already know. I remember telling you before that I got the game last year at an Anime convention near the end of August, and I had been playing it sporadically because of my college semester(s) taking up most of my valuable time. Right now, I'm at the rebuilt Nibelheim and in Shinra Mansion, after following the rumors of Sephiroth taking up hold there.

I'm mostly aware of what's about to transpire considering how old this game is, but it's fun to watch everything unfold as you play it for the first time. Although I have to say that when I first started playing this game back in the Fall, I couldn't help but compare it to its predecessor Final Fantasy VI in terms of its characters and themes. Its villains are, IMO, pretty much sub-par and unmemorable compared to the likes of Kefka or even Exdeath, although Sephiroth left an interesting impact on his brief, on-screen appearances.

I've heard a lot about how bad the original localization was for this game, and surprisingly enough, I think it's somewhat passable. Oh yeah, there's "This guy are sick" and the various typos from here and there, but I haven't noticed anything particularly glaring so far.

I think it's a lot better than FFX if you ask me.

Both are pretty op, imo. They both have beastly growth
But Fae felt more useful for me because in a game where your Lord is useless, she is a godsend.

@ ThunderSageNun ThunderSageNun I know I mentioned this before but I love your choice of avatar. Elf is the best character in Dragon's Crown by far...
she's the most fun character to play as, but she has so much limitations with her ammo control :<
Like, the melee guys just rely on their weapons and the magicians have their wands when they run out of spells, elf is kinda screwed once her arrow count reaches 0, and her other options aren't...very good.

Yeah, they really should have let her carry more arrows...though I wasn't very good at the game either way.
I'm a low tier hero though...I always happen to main weak characters.

Thanks!

Heh, yeah we might've talked about it before.
I remember back in the day, when I first consciously replayed the game since my childhood I was surprised at the sheer amount of really great scenes that I just forgot about with time.

And I'm not even about that one event.

I mean that moment with Nanaki/Red and his father is still quite tmoving to me...
That's something I think both VI and VII (and Chrono Trigger) do amazingly right. Creating memorable and touching moments with their characters.

I like to believe that Sephiroth is more of a slow burn at first, at least compared to Kefka.
You see a lot of Kefka early on and in every scene he's awesomely despicable. But then he just vanishes until the final battle.
Sephiroth on the other hand... well, I won't spoil anything, even if you may already know all important cornerstones of the story.

And I'm still not talking about that one event. ;)

All this talk about awesome dragons/manaketes, and yet not a single mention of the newest additions to the dragon folk?

I don't discriminate. I love all dragons.

If I had to pick a favorite, fire dragons and hydra all the way though eastern dragons have a soft spot in my heart as well because of their serene depiction.

Funnily enough I just found a relevant piece of fanart

Maya with the Steel Samurai spear, and she's even talking about defending people
That's some good fan art!
Funnily enough, I played some UMvC3 and she killed Galactus. :p

Every time someone says "Nah", a cute dragon girl dies. Think of the dragon girls:sadeyes:.
Should I say it... hmm... I don't think so...
Nah... I won't do it...
Oops...

I'm not sure if you guys already heard about this or not, but a new character was revealed for Fire Emblem if:

Nishiki (Fox Spirit) [Hoshido]

A fox spirit youth who lives in a remote region of Hoshido. Following his father’s footsteps, he acts as his clan’s leader and keeps his people in order.

Personal Skill [Gratitude] When an unit uses a healing staff on the user, that unit has their HP restored by half the same amount.

Source is here, which also details some more things, including that there are male Pegasus Knights, known as Pegasus Warriors, and that the Severa lookalike is named Luna and shares Severa's Japanese voice actress.

...I have no idea what has recently happened since my 666 post. Just... dragons.

So, I got bored staying home and I went to my local mall to browse and get streetpasses (I didn't get any). I go to Target to check their amiibo section. Everything Wave 4 is gone. It's back to the way it used to be. I buy oreos and I leave the store and I then go to Best Buy for the same thing and I stumbled across this.

Hey, could all o' ya fine folks and folkettes do me a huge favour?

If any of you would care to support Gardevoir for Smash, could you check out her thread in the Predefined Roles support group and help get it up and running?

It would mean a lot to me. :3

FRICK DON'T CHALLENGE MY VOW TO MARRY KAMUI TO JOKER. Maybe I can do Nishiki on the Hoshido run and Joker on the Nohr run.
