I tried one of the earlier Final Fantasies years ago, but simply couldn't get into it. I forget the details by now, but I mostly remember not being very fond of the battle system (as I've said before, it's what puts me off a lot of RPGs).

I loved Final Fantasy VI and VII, haven't gotten around to play more, but those two are freaking gorgeous games.

I really, really wanted to love VI but I couldn't for some reason. It wasn't even because I thought it was bad. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I didn't play it until after a decade or more after it was released and at that point, it just showed its age. But yeah, VII is my favorite followed by X in terms of main number series.

In regards to more recent FFs, just beat Type - 0 twice recently and I have to say, it has great potential to be its own spin-off series. The PSP FFs are great.

I'm proud of you (excellent choice for a derpy Mikasa as well).
I love FFVI, like IX quite a bit and I think VII is good. I couldn't get into Tactics and I'm probably in a very small minority that couldn't stand IV.
That being I said, I like Chrono Trigger better (not Cross though, I hate Cross).

Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPG's i've ever played, let alone one of the best games period.

My love for CT just makes it the more sad that I have to dislike it's only...sequel? Whatever you want to call. I simply could not stand the combat mechanics of Cross, or its characters, I just couldn't like the game

Garon is evil.

Kamui is obviously the hero(ine) but has the same color eyes, so they might be part evil.

Doesn't distract from how good they look, though.

I actually like in this game, even though I can't use her at all in any other game. Same with , she's one of my favourite characters in this game, but I can't stand her in Brawl. is the only character I like in every game, despite the nerfs in Smash4
