I remember the days of user shipping. I think my favourite pairing was @False Sense and @ LIQUID12A . Though I've stopped joking about that as not to make people uncomfortable.

Jonas "Drakonis" Drakonis. Looking upon those evergreen hills to see that stout silhouette on the highest one. As I approach, there I see it: Lush blonde hair dancing in the wind. As the man looks into the distance, he sees not the hills or sky before him, but adventures yet to come. I am now at his side, and as he is ready to utter his usual words, Hong interrupts him.

"When do we start?"

Also Robin and Smash related news where pretty scarce since E3. Might explain a drought of participants.

Well, maybe it's time to change the topic.

Let's talk about Say'ri <3
I still can't believe she can only Support with Robin and Tiki, I mean, she's relevant to story (to the Valm arc, at least), is awesome and shouldn't have any storyline related problems to, canonically, marry any of the other guys. I mean, she's not like the Spotpass characters or Tiki.
I say the staff maybe had a time restraint, and since she's the last character to join via main storyline, thay had to make cuts on her, but that's still disapointing. I mean, Donnel isn't necessary to get, but he still gets tons of supports.

I really want to use Say'ri, but at around halfway through the game I generally already have a bunch of good sword users (i.e. Lon'qu, Chrom, Lucina, Gaius, Olivia). The lack of supports makes her really bad for pairing up unless you do it with Robin or Tiki. She also doesn't get any children unless you pair her up with a male Robin too. Her character is general is not bad though.

The only thing I can't ship is Chrom/Cordelia and Say'ri/Lon'qu.

Olivia? oO Even though I like Olivia as a character, I never got enough courage to level her to switch classes, so I just let her warm the bench in the end.

But ye, the lack of supports makes Say'ri a really underrated character, imo. She's actually good to use, but sometimes I just prefer to switch her for a characters that still needs more supports.

Yeah, but I'm still sincerily interesed on how supports between Say'ri and Lon'qu would go.
And since they aren't even a possibility in Awakening, I can't even find fanart of it. Maybe a fanfic exists, but I didn't find any yet.

The problem is, we have no real reason for them to interact and we have no indicator as too how they would interact. I suppose that it could be a support about Chon'sin(how Lon'qu managed to leave Chon'sin and travel to Ferox,) or perhaps a discussion of swordsplay.


Lets take the swordsplay one. (HeadCanon!) Lon'qu never learned Chon'sin's sword techniques properly, he only imitated what he saw and blended it together with a lot of practice and Feroxi styles. Say'ri sees mistakes in his form and tries to fix it but Lon'qu's gynophobia and muscle memory prevents the necessary changes from being made. In the end he accepts his mixed form as a reflection on his life and travels.

How's that for twenty seconds of contemplation?
