Social "Time to Tip the Scales!" - Robin Social Thread

So, now that we've established that Robin has a buff, what are all the applications of this buff? Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple:

1.) Robin's recovery is superior to what it was before, as the direction you're facing when recovering no longer determines whether you live or die.

2.) As a result of this, Robin can now be a bit more aggressive with off-stage fighting without having to worry as much about being able to recover.

Any other thoughts?

Has anybody noticed that Robin's Nosferatu traps the opponent for an extremely shorter time than before? I think it's lost some of its versatility post update... also curious on how Elwind can 'grab backwards'. Another glitch?

High level CPUs get out of grab moves extremely quickly. If you're not used to it, it would probably come as a surprise.

Not much; just need to play robin more than I have been. I keep getting frustrated when I miss grabbing my expired tomes and use the wrong kind of sword courtesy of 3ds controls. Wii U version in 3 days though!

I still mess up sometimes the Smash aerials and attack with the bronze sword but with C-stick that is going to end.

Indeed! Such a way of playing is unheard of in fighting games. Why play as characters you enjoy from they're respective franchises when you can only play a select few characters that are considered high tier or competitively viable? I mean, that sounds like SO much fun!

You know, even though I never played that as Mewtwo that much in Melee, I'm still VERY happy he's back, especially for those who really wanted him to strike back, and I know there are many who did. The more, the merrier I say.

Ditto. Mewtwo wasn't one of my most wanted, but I certainly welcome him back. Helps that catching him in X has made him grow on me more again. I love how dignified he is in Amie.

I thought Robin had a reduction of power, since I swore when I experimented the attacks seem slightly weaker. I don't use Robin a lot, so I'm not 100% reliable.

Do as you please. I think we came to the conclusion that he indeed was pimping the ladies. In fact, for the pranked icon, I was try to find a pimp hat for him and failed to get one with a good transparent background, so Stud Muffin it was.
