Good games! Hopefully you didn't mind our skill gap lol. In hindsight I probably should have went Robin for our last match, but I kept getting destroyed so I was afraid to pick Robin again HAHAHA. By the way how was the connection while we were playing? I didn't get any lag aside from input delay. Do you think I should be more patient/campy? I feel bad if I just sit there with my shield all day. I did notice that you knew that I was going to go in a lot and just shield my attack and grabbed me. At one point I just stopped down throwing as Robin since it looked like you were DI'ing out of it. I won't forget one of your Robin dittos where we both spammed jab in the beginning lol; that was pretty funny. Sorry about BMing at one point when you tried to gimp me on the ledge. You caught me so many times and then I finally teched it twice in a row.

The game generally does favour defensive, patient play more than just running in all guns blazing. Though you could also try to mix it up a bit, like throw out attacks to make the opponent expect it and sit in their shield, and then throw in the odd grab/Nosferatu to catch them out and beat their shield.

I won't forget one of your Robin dittos where we both spammed jab in the beginning lol; that was pretty funny.

I think I saved the replay of that one, actually (I think it was closer to the middle than the beginning, though?) I could upload it if you like?

That's the best answer I could ever ask for. I think I'll hold off on buying a lan adapter for now then.

I'll try my best to mix up my stuff for future games. I got to remember to use Arc Fire too, of all things, since I realized I didn't use it once during our first match LOL. It's been weeks since I've played but that shouldn't be a valid excuse haha. It's funny how I think about using Nosferatu against opponents who are shielding on platforms, but when it comes game time I never remember to use it.

Oh, I just remembered that it was on the Ryu map then. I'd love it if you could upload it!

I never knew having 5% more Luck growth made such a difference (though Cord does have slightly more favourable base stats, i.e. speed). Though I never use either since you get Barst at literally the same time even though he's infinitely superior

also I think Palla is missing, I'd have her about the same as Catria

Also, I can't find Palla anywhere in that list.

Cord is in my opinion, one of the more underrated FE 11 (as in he's not total booty) characters at level 2 he has 9 speed and a 50 speed growth meaning he's actually going to double stuff

now i want to talk about the Whitewings
Minerva:
The Second best Axe user in FE11 (granted thats not much as any axe user other than Barst is pretty meh) her movement and that A in Axes makes delish
Catria:
It actually hurts me not putting her in God tier but the Win Spear is THAT overpowered. She has the 4th best growths in the game joins in the midame has decent bases
Palla:
Her 20% speed growth will maker less and less useful but rarely enough to justify dropping her. Her A in lances makes her into a wielder of the glorious Silver Lance and that makes her better Catria for a few chapters

Est is special, easily the easiest of her archetype to level her up but also one of the relatively least impressive of the bunch.
Her recruitment chapter is full of Promoted Pinatas-I mean Horsemen and she comes with with a ridersbane meaning that its not difficult to give her some levels before the chapter ends even on H5. By then end of the chapter she will be just a noticeably weaker Palla as opposed to unusable must be babied garbage. Further more 40% of the enemies are horses meaning her ridersbane will still maker usefull way before you can see the fruits of grinding her. Despite the easyness of leveling her up, unless you REALLY work to level her up she becomes about as good as Catria as opposed to unholy monstrosity like say Nino or Kurthnaga

I like Est in FE12, though you'll probably need to put lots of money into levelling her up in the base arena. I also usually have a space for Nino in my FE7 team, though I've got too many mages on my party in my current run (the consequence of actually bothering to use mages not named Canas or Pent, in addition to those two I've got Lucius, Priscilla, and Serra), so she's not getting in this time. Sara in FE5 is godly and you have to be a masochist to not use her.
The other Ests are pretty meh in my opinion, more effort than they're worth so late in the game

a few more things about FE11 Est:
* She can triangle attack the boss of her chapter with the riders bane for a free level up
* with that C in lances, as long as you have her keep up with the team she should be able to use dragon pikes by the time Manaketes
become super common
* I realise now that calling her about as good as Catria is underplaying her a bit, let me just say having a second Catria is mouth watering

In my millions of FE 11 runs I try to make Cord into a Dark Mage and he's usually worse than Merric and Linde and down right booty in H5 but i love using him in my casual runs just because i love the class ans theres something amusing about making a burly manly man into a mage and him being actually competent at it

Shadow Dragon is my favorite FE even more than Awakening of the GBA games and I know that we'll never get new mystery in the states but I feel uncomfortable with emulators both for not being able to play them in a portable system and just the fact that its technically illegal

Also, I had a bit of a funny moment while my friend and I were messing around in Smash today. He was telling me that crouching will reduce the odds of you tripping when you get hit by a move (I have no idea if this is true or not), I then hit him with Robin's F-tilt while he's at 0% crouching and he ends up tripping. I do not remember the last time I made anyone trip with Robin's F-tilt and on top of him making that remark about tripping, we had a good laugh about it.

Same here. Its really fun and I might get it but I'm afraid of what the final product will be. If I do get the game though, I hope I don't need a damnable EA account to play the multiplayer. If I do need one, I'm gonna try and figure out how to remove my bro's EA account from my Xbox profile (had to use it for the beta) and then make my own.
