Personally I think these two are better.

I will agree that Peach's simple design looks better than the Smash design which has a lot of detail.

• Actually, being a Rookie Lawyer like Apollo helps expand on both of them and brings in someone almost equal to him. Furthermore, they help develop one another and the connection between them help make the final cases something to remember.
• Trucy could never fill Athena's shoes, mostly because Athena can step up to the main role if needed. Furthermore, this means that Apollo (and probably Phoenix) can be an assistant for a slightly different take on the usual set-up (perky lawyer and more down-to-earth assistant vis-á-vis the usual more down-to-earth lawyer and perky assistant schtick) and show other facets of their character.
• As far as stage-magicians go, the stage-magician's way of reading emotions is more similiar to the way Apollo's Perceive works, rather than the way Athena's power works and doesn't have the advantage of immediately getting to the problem at hand.
• I don't see how that is supposed to mean that she's not needed in the series.

You're not wrong. Athena makes a fine addition, and is a likable character. But I don't like when character arcs go unfinished, and with Athena taking a whole game to herself, it feels like what AJ set up won't ever really be finished without a cop-out. I dunno, maybe I'm just too cynical about this.
And that last "problem" was just my personal distaste against a story used twice in the same series. It always irked me...

The only children I really care about is Matoi/not-Cordelia, and I want her to have red hair. Maybe I'll get Gray too as Gaius is my favorite character in Awakening.
Isn't Tactics Ogre pretty similar to Final Fantasy Tactics? Because I really couldn't get into that one. Not like I'd want to play much stuff on a PSP anymore, that thing is super noisy and not all that comfortable to play on. At least Trails in the Sky was awesome.

They're similar in the aspect of having the MOST amazing story lines ever. Gameplay wise, Tactics Ogre is much more indepth and advanced than FF Tactics. That being said. FF Tactics is easilky my favorite game ever, and Tactics Ogre is quickly moving up to share that spot.

Another convert to the glory of Tactics Ogre: LUCT. So much content and replay value, solid gameplay, a wonderful political storyline. Love the game to death and it has has greatest SRPG story ever. While I think other games like Fire Emblem focus more on the cast and have better and more varied level design,Tactics Ogre's storyline puts many games to shame. This was the game that popped into my head when Fire Emblem:Fates came up and it's multiple storylines (and when I look at this game, it sounds outstanding too, thematically and gameplay wise) The king of Square's glory days.

There are so many GREAT things about this game, the few thing that are "eh" (The class system being a big one, it's really annoying late game.) COMPLETELY make up for it. While there's not as much focus on the cast as FE, the characters that do get character development is AMAZING. There's only three (4 depending on which storyline you take) that do get major development, but it's so well done!

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is a better PSP SRPG. Despite being anime as ****.

I've never gotten to play Valkyria Chronicles 2, but I want to! People have told me before to play it :v
