Genealogy's map design is fine, but its unit balance is terrible. It's called Horse Emblem for a reason, using any other kind of unit just isn't as enjoyable or flexible. Sigurd is nigh on invincible if you keep repairing the silver sword. The holy weapons are absurdly OP (but in this regard this is fun). Weapon durability doesn't really matter thanks to repairing. Genealogy is a great game, but design wise future games have it beat.

Gravity Falls is a funny show, but I must confess...

The Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons episode is probably the funniest yet.

"Ew, apple slices! I'll eat you last!"
Saying which episode is funnier is like trying to decide the best classical composer between Beethoven, Bach and Mozart.

In other words they're all funny. :b:

I'm tempted to agree with that assessment, but so many episodes are just so hilarious that it's hard to pick out the funniest. :p

I think the episode after it gives it some competition in that regard. ;)

I did buy another game but I'm gonna keep that one a secret.

Why? Because weeaboos and nerd will kill me if they know what game it is.

Now you can join us in the excruciating wait for newer episodes to come out.
Normally, I'd agree, but...

The next episode is only a little over a week away. And we're getting another episode just two weeks after that.

They're finally getting a decent release schedule! :estatic:

Oh. I did not know this.
This is good news. :colorful:

To be fair, as someone more used to marathoning animes, it's still long. :p

If their release schedule is decent, then the previous months of waiting shouldn't count as "normally" anymore. Let go. :p

I wholly support this idea. (Giggity)

Also it completely slipped my mind to mention that my college classes started up this week, lol. So yeah I've officially completed my first week of my final year of school!

:112:
(Giggity giggity goo)
Good luck with the rest!

My condolences to Robin.

What the shenanigans was up with that elwind?!

Guys, I'm like really scared. I have to have surgery done sometime next week and I can't stop crying about it because I've never had it before, I don't know what to expect, and it's scaring me so much.

I feel ya on the "this is new/I've never done this before and it's scary" bit. What is the surgery for though? Chances are you'll be unconscious so....

I would say this mostly comes down to how much units with high movement ranges (i.e. mounted units) benefit from roads increasing movement ranges even further. If you give someone like Lewyn or Shanan the Leg Ring (and maybe also the Knight Bracelet), they can easily keep up. It's the one game where Thracia 776's movement growth rate would actually have been useful.

Sigurd is nigh on invincible if you keep repairing the silver sword.
He'd still be the best unit in the game even if he got the silver sword a chapter or two later - the only negative effect would be on Seliph, who wouldn't benefit from the 50-kill bonus as early.

The holy weapons are absurdly OP
Fire Emblem - Seisen no Keifu009.png

Oh, it only adds 20 to every other stat, nothing too ridiculous here :p (I agree that they're fun though, Ced with Forseti or Shanan with Balmung in particular)

Weapon durability doesn't really matter thanks to repairing.
It's maybe an issue for units with holy weapons, which are expensive to repair, but otherwise it's just a minor nuisance. It shouldn't be a problem in most games though, if you manage your weapons properly (the exception being Thracia 776, of course, since money basically doesn't exist there, and you have to steal your way across the peninsula).

@Sanae, take it from me, you won't remember it even when it happens.

Even when you wake up, you'll be too drugged to understand that it's over 'til you eventually mellow out of it. It's like waking up from a really good nap, then realising you're in a warm bed and it's sunny outside. :3

Thank you to everyone who helped me choose an avatar! I couldn't really quote them all becuase there were a lot, but I liked all the responses.

It seems as though these two were the most popular, so I'll go with Marth because.. well, Marth. :4marth::4marth::4marth:

Also, everyone's more than welcome to use the other avatars if they strike your fancy! :3

I have an abscess somewhere in my lower abdomen so I have to get it drained and have the infected part removed.

Basically this.

Any actually scary surgery they put you so out of it that there is literally no chance you will be conscious and able to comprehend what is going on. That's the magic of anesthesia.

You are just stressed out, just remember that you just need to go in there, brave it out and come out healthy as can be. If you worry about it it will only be worse for your health. Trust the doctors and they will make sure you come out healthy as can be. We are all rooting for you!

Don't be scared. What you have doesn't sound too bad, so just get in there and get it done. We have your back.

Sorry if what I said was too blunt. I'm not a good motivator. But I will not let friends go where they don't want to and have to do things they don't want to with a sad face on.

I will make sure you are in a happy and cheerful before you go to your surgery. :seuss:

Whenever I see Sanae, I think of bread and when I think of bread, I think of this.

As for surgery, never had anything major or with anesthetic. I had wisdom teeth removal and that was with local anesthetic. All I can say is the body knows even if it can't feel a thing. :p

My condolences to Robin.

All this talk about surgeries, while I'm still having a sort of rage attack from remembering the one time a Doctor Mario did this to me. I totally forgot that it could do that, and I dropped vulgar words like Eminem dropped his mom's spaghetti.
