Gender equality, whoop whoop~ :3

EDIT: Guess I may as well contribute something worthwhile 'til people show up.

Well obviously gender equality is important to me. By that I mean equality between genders, but also equality of perception of gender. Y'all know I'm a genderless blob androgyne and I get a wee bit ruffled in the feathers if people insinuate I'm objectively of a certain gender over the other.

Ergo, I think it's important to INFORM PEOPLE. You can feel personally offended if somebody - with the most innocuous of intent - mistakes your gender or doesn't quite understand your gender perception, or you can calmly and politely educate them on the subject. If I meet somebody who mistakes my gender (to wit, just to make it absolutely clear: androgynous, i.e. I am neither a man nor a woman, I am totally gender-neutral), my response is to inform them as to what I am and what that means. That way, I contribute to a better social understanding and awareness of, more than just my own gender perception, gender perception as a whole!

Similarly, if people want to know what sexuality I am, I will tell them what I am: pansexual (i.e. I am sexually attracted to beauty or the essence of the person, rather than their physical gender). If this creates confusion for the other individual, I will explain to them what it means and why it is (for want of a better, less obtuse term) "normal". Even if the other person doesn't understand it or feels personally threatened by this concept, hey, at least I tried to inform them. You won't change everybody's mind, and that's okay: I am a firm believer of the credo that, to be truly tolerant, you must tolerate the intolerant too. Some of my best friends are firmly Catholic believers of the faith who find homosexuality and alternative lifestyles to be inherently discomforting to their worldview, yet even so, I am tolerated by them and I, in turn, tolerate them. In the same way I wouldn't expect my Catholic friend to come into my house and be subject to absolute genderqueer dogmatism, I wouldn't go to his house and tell him he's wrong to believe what he does. There has never been tension between us because we fundamentally respect the other's beliefs. Even so, if he came to me and asked to explain my sexual context to him, I would be more than happy to educate him. This is how the world turns. This is equality.

The most important weapon we have is education. If you want to change people's perspectives or broaden somebody else's horizons, the best thing to do is tell them about it! Contrary to popular belief, most people who come off as "bigoted" or "close-minded" really do want to know more about different cultures and creeds, or are at the very least open to the possibility of a sound education. That isn't to say that you need to educate them, or that you're a terrible person for being unable to win them over or that the other person is a close-minded bigot for their choice to disregard your informational efforts: even people who hand out religious pamphlets on the street, or who attend church regularly and believe you may want to do so too, want to help you and educate you in their own way. I know I have friends on this site whom have strongly urged me to go to church or try to find faith in God, but while I don't have that kind of faith or feel the need to do so, I respect their beliefs and understand that the intent is fundamentally altruistic. Who knows? Maybe some day I will go to church to see what it's like. I'm a firm believer in education. I want to know how something is before I make a judgement on it.

tl;dr - An informed judgement is better than an uninformed dogma.

Pristine beat is probably one of my favourite extra stage themes, the beat and rhythm is really well done. I'm not sure if drums are used like that in any other song in the touhou series. Moreover, it fits her character so well, Raiko is a drum come to life.

I just had a dream where I was an airplane that was shot down by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And then I was a walrus riding a unicycle.
And then I was on the verge of an ice cream death.
It was weird.

What a coincidence, I woke up around 4:30 too, I managed to fall backs asleep after around an hour of lying in bed, but I only managed to sleep for an extra hour. I'm doing good today, going to the CNE today.

I think it has to do with staying up late, or something like that...

*Googles CNE*

Neat! Enjoy your day!

Everytime I hear the beginning Maiden's Capriccio I can't not hear "Neko Miko Reimu" in my head. Sometimes I try not to but I can't help it anymore. TH8 has some really nice songs, but I still don't know exactly how IN's mechanics work.

You sound like my father.

Me too! Dysfunctional sleeping pattern buddies! :D

I spent that time beating this game:

I can safely say Super Metroid is GOAT.
I haven't played it myself, but I've always liked watching it.

My brother, on the other hand, is a big Metroid fan, and has played it.

I would plan to wake up really early in the mornings, but that would require me to go to sleep earlier if I still wanted to have a healthy amount and quality of sleep every night.
8-9 PM Bed Time Master Race though.

It's the best time to go to sleep.

I actually went 8:00 pm -> 2:30 am for a night of sleep before a midterm once last semester, it was pretty chill.

I found Adventure Time to be hilarious when I actually watched TV.

The first season in particular was pretty awesome, and I want to say that is because Derek Drymon was on the staff as Executive Producer.

Derek Drymon was the Creative Director for most of the pre-movie Spongebob era (eventually being credited as Executive Producer for the movie itself), for anyone wondering, and although I'm not 100% sure what that position entails I assume he had a strong influence in the content creation considering that the pre-movie Spongebob era was the best time period of the show and that Drymon left after the release of the movie.

Dreamt last night about a re-enactment of chapter 23 of Kid Icarus Uprising, only Dark Pit personally carried Pit across a long corridor in the City of Souls, and Palutena was particularly tsundere for Pit and demanded that Dark Pit handle Pit carefully. Also Hades was the Soul-Eating Monster for some reason. And bags of potato chips were involved.

True KIU fashion here.

Since half the people watch Gravity falls here, we should have fun with it. This is the Ceaser Cipher. Its a code used at the end of gravity falls season 1 and spell out a certain text. For example this is a code on episode 1

ZHOFRPH WR JUDYLWB IDOOV. is what it says at the top. But if you translate it spells out,

Welcome to Gravity falls

http://tools.zenverse.net/caesar-cipher/

Here you can make your own cypher. Its actually pretty cool.

We at the Link boards greatly appreciate all the time and effort you've put into writing mundane posts such as this on our boards. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. Let's take a look and see what you've provided us. Ah, here's something!

Oh dear, this happens to have received a warning! For what purpose though? What could our dear, sweet little Smokey have said that infuriated our mods so much? Could this have been the post that got him BANNED?! Let's pull up a decoder site, shall we?

Oh my! Someone has been very naughty! Calling one of our members, who contributes OUTSTANDING quality material on our boards a wiener sucker? Telling him to "get good" when you have been thrashed by other players here and elsewhere? He told you what needed to be said, and you lashed out at him like a spoiled child. Tsk tsk tsk, when will you ever learn?
Let's rummage through the archives and see what else we can find! Ahh, here's something else!

We at the Link boards would GREATLY appreciate it if you would keep this promise and not step foot in our domain again! It benefits us because we no longer need to put up with you, and it benefits you, because the odds of you being banned again dwindle! It's a win-win scenario! What more could you want? It's a great deal!
We advise that you take it.

First of all @smokebomb12 why the hell did you go back to that awful place?!
second of all why did you think it was a bright idea to cuss someone out in a decodeable language, ANYONE can decode that stuff
Third off all @ link7 link7 I would personally prefer if you don't bring up such drama here, I can't speak in behalf of the Robin social nor do I know much of the Link Social but your tone of attitude is not reflecting of the affable Robin social.

Whatever the beef is between the Link boards and one user doesn't have to be settled in the Robin social, does it?
Also the Link social shouldn't be your "domain". Some mods need to come in and crack down on the behavior in that thread it seems.
