Gluten plays Peach with the 3DS as a controller. She does Peach things with a 3DS as a controller: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0xlb-sKicA.
Whoa, that's amazing. Peach is such a technical character and seeing someone maximize her potential, with the 3DS at that, I am extremely impressed.

Kudos to Gluten!

The Jak and Daxter franchise is like, the best. I'm playing Jak 3 again after about 4 years, and I just remembered how bloody amazing the game is. It offers versatile and fun gameplay, the characters are SO well developed, the story is immaculate and the humour is spot on.

I'm just, y'know when you play a game again after the longest time and your heart just feels so bubbly? I'm having that feeling. :drsad:

What? You mad?!

Men don't know how to make a sandwich. That's just tampering with God's law.
I can make a sandwich and I'm not an adult >:/

I may not be brilliant, but I can still make one.

It's blatantly obvious when a girl plays on stream during a tournament. Forgot the channel and the stream but there is a pretty good Shulk player who is a girl and the chat just devolves into "OMG A GRILL" or "A GIRL?!? IN MY SMASH!?!" and finally "lol back to the kitchen you go" everytime the girl lost.

EDIT: I still forgot the channel but I do remember that Ito participates on that tournament
smh

That's just pitiful. I mean serious, it's fun to banter but that last comment?! It feels like a very poor joke. I mean, I no feminist (I don't even know what that means) but this just kind of sad really. Their is not need to be so disrespectful.

Indeed, indeed. Misogyny in the gaming community comes in various forms. It's not like women want to be treated "nicely" and "adoringly" by fellow gamers, we want to be treated equally. This applies to real life as well. Though, it's more severe specifically in the gaming community because women are a minority.

How about going to the kitchen and making sandwiches be considered gender neutral instead? :drfacepalm:
IKR? Society just really needs to step up it game and so do gaming communities. I mean, I can see where you are coming from. The is not such thing as no banter in sport, but their is a fine line between banter and being a ****head.

You know what? If I ever get into competitive gaming (most like smash) and I see a guy being disrespectful to a girl he beat and I end up versing him and beat him, I am total going to say 'Now how about you go make be a sandwich?'

The gender problem in the gaming community irritates me a bit. I usually do not care much for the opinions and comments of random people on the internet. It still makes me feel a tad bad for those who cannot shut out the hateful and tactless comments. I do not have much respect for misogynists in the slightest.

Feminism is originally about anyone fighting for equality for women. Men can be feminists too, however over time, the term lost it's meaning and now anyone who hates men are called "feminists" (mostly thanks to sites like Tumblr). This may/may not have worsened the attitude men has towards women though.

There's Scatt who plays Mega Man with a Wiimote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr6NBmYHGj0. I wished there were hand cams, but whatever. I don't remember if the commentators mention it in that set, but at Momocon, someone mentioned he played with the Wiimote. It might be crazy, but considering what the NES controller's layout was like, it might be a comfort thing with what Mega Man games were played on.

Also, grew up with Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly Cooper. Young me was all edgy and liked Jak & Daxter more, but current me likes Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper more now. Seeing Ratchet mellow out and develop as a hero and Sly's more calmer, clever nature just feels more, y'know? Jak in Jak 1 was fun, but Jak in 2 and 3 kind of became anti-hero-like with 2 being rage and more rage. Justified rage, but it wasn't until later in Jak 3 where Jak became less angry.

I'll have you know that I can make an extraordinarily bland cheese sandwich all on my own! :dr^_^:

Somebody please tell me how Robin / Pit is.

I still don't get that matchup.
That's a weird one. From my experience, Pit can annoy Robin with arrows and get some annoying combos going up close, but Robin can also zone him out without too much difficulty and do some serious damage with the Levin Sword.

In my not so professional opinion, I'd say the matchup doesn't strongly favor one or the other. :ohwell:

Well, I caught up on Steven Universe.

What's going... on....

D:
I don't think anyone really knows. :dizzy:

Ah, Steven Universe. Another anime show I've been wanting to watch.
It's... Interesting, but kind of odd, in my opinion. It's got some really good stuff in it (the main characters and some really stellar musical numbers, for example), but it also takes a really long time to even remotely develop a plot, and I think a lot of it is just "ok" in the grand scheme of things. I'd say it's a good show that's worth checking out and sticking with, but it might not appeal to everyone.

I'll admit it takes a bit for the plot to really pick up, but when it does it goes like a mother******* freight train of raw and legitimate emotions, relationships, and characters. If this show doesn't make you weep, then you have no soul.

Oh, I see, cause from memory, the term i remember is that they are anyone who complain at things like Zamus's gym outfits in SSB$. That's not such a bad run now that you say it. Wonder why people exaggerated it so much?

Feminism is about the equality of women. Feminists don't hate men. If a women claims she's a feminist but hates men, she's sexist. So called "meminists" are ridiculous because men are treated fairly, so they really have nothing to "fight" for.

The reason why misogyny within the Smash/gaming community irks me so much is because I have been a victim of misogynistic behavior, and I'm pretty sure many other women within the community would say the same, unfortunately. Of course, I can't simply say that sexism within the community will and should be completely wiped out, because it's only natural that there's gonna be someone who IS sexist, whether it being rude to women within the community or being mindlessly flirtatious. The issue is being addressed, thankfully. But sadly, there'll always be that one Twitch stream where a female appears and then the chat is suddenly flooded with absurd comments such as "IS SHE A GRILL??!!?" and "go back to the kitchen." The community can't grow positively if this is the case.
There's Scatt who plays Mega Man with a Wiimote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr6NBmYHGj0. I wished there were hand cams, but whatever. People who play with not the gamecube controller should be feared. Kudos to them for being able to pull it off, especially because the gamecube controller, in my opinion, is the most comfortable when it comes to handling and button layout. However, for them, it may not be the case!
Also, grew up with Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly Cooper. Young me was all edgy and liked Jak & Daxter more, but current me likes Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper more now. The transition between Jak 1 to Jak 2 was unexpected, Jak being much more of an innocent, loving mute in Jak 1, whilst in Jak 2, he suddenly begins talking, has a very husky voice, and has his darker counterpart, in addition with him suddenly wielding a gun despite him being raised in a jungle in the previous game. Jak 1 was rated 3+ whilst Jak 2 jumped to 12+ which was rather shocking at the time. However, I really liked the drastic transition and the difficulty spike, but I heard that some people at the time were disappointed. That said, the gameplay still remained the same, but just a change in setting, and of course, Jak having a gun. I like Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank equally, they're all just so good in their own right. Each protagonist respectively were amazingly written. :drifloon:

I decided to make @ Raziek Raziek facts in the line of Chuck Norris Facts
@ Raziek Raziek has A supported every sentient being on the planet'
Your relationship with your significant other is forever weakened for you will never S-Support @ Raziek Raziek
@ Raziek Raziek is actually the leader of a secret organization that ranks higher than any one country's power
One time a terrorist group was planning to invade the Robin forums, but then they immediately thought of @ Raziek Raziek and immediately turned themselves in
@ Raziek Raziek has a single bodyguard, a notebook named "Keikaku" one that holds a seemingly endless amount of pages that @ Raziek Raziek has filled with his tactics, ships, and Bloodguard Tactics, Should you endanger @ Raziek Raziek , Keikaku will destroy you.
@ Raziek Raziek has the power to win every single Smash game as Robin but chooses not to because then he would be too busy winning games than moderating the Robin Social
@ Raziek Raziek is actually the Father of All Tactics
They say only @ Raziek Raziek can read Keikaku and not go crazy

as You can see I was very bored :4villager:

I really can't stand political/current event discussion bull**** but, I'll throw my two cents in:

I am one of those "misogynistic", "racist", "neo-Nazi", "gun-toting", "Bible-thumping", "homophobic", "transphobic", right-wing nut jobs the media warned you about.
I support GamerGate.
I don't give 2 ****s what the physical gender (that is, the parts and chromosomes a person has), gender identity (that is, the gender that the person claims they are), sexual orientation, race, political leanings and political identity of my Final Fantasy XIV Free Company mates, my Final Fantasy XIV Roulette party mates, my Splatoon Teammates, my Splatoon Opponents, my Smash4 opponents and my fellow SmashBoards users happen to be. It doesn't matter to me when I sit down to game. It doesn't make a difference to me. I don't care if you were born with girly parts and call yourself a man. I don't care if you were born with girly parts and identify as a woman. It doesn't matter to me. You're there to enjoy the same game that I am enjoying and that's all that matters to me. We're both here for a shared interest and THAT'S what matters. Not who you support for President, or what your stance is on gay marriage or what parts you have between your legs.

There is no reason in my mind why girls and women can't enjoy video games as much as guys do. It's their choice one way or another. And if they do? That's awesome. I welcome gamer girls as much as I welcome gamer guys. It makes no difference to me as long you're enjoying the game.

Because that's what games are about. Having fun and enjoyment and escaping the real world for a time.

For young me, it was cool, guns, explosion, edge, explosions, edge, dark powers, darker story, edge, and Daxter. Daxter and Sig were one of the best parts of the series. Hell yeah, chili peppers. For difficulty from easiest to hardest, I would say it's Jak 3, Jak & Daxter, and Jak 2. I never even beat Jak & Daxter, but Jak 2 was that difficult for some reason while Jak 3 was easy except for some parts. I think it's probably because of the light powers letting you heal while in past games, you needed to either not get hit or find a health crate. In a way, the first 3 Ratchet & Clank games were like that too with Up Your Arsenal being the easiest and Going Commando as the hardest. Gonna say age has to do with it since the second games obviously came before the third games and I was like around 9 when I played them.

Dark Cloud 1 was hell since I was around 7 when I played it and it was my first RPG. Being a dumb kid who doesn't even know how to upgrade stuff was bad since I ended up with a lv. 99 Sax as my best weapon. Sax would be a 1st tier or 2nd tier weapon. Basically, it's one of the first weapons you can get. How I managed that I have no idea. Now I regret selling Dark Cloud 1... At least there's a used game store near where I live. :awesome:

Yeah, but of the 3, only Ratchet has been rendered as the fuzziest.

Well, there is a Sly Cooper film, but Kevin Miller's not voicing Sly Cooper... and Sly kind of looks weird. The comic-book feel is kind of lost with the realistic fur.

Someone give this man a medal. He may be the pioneer of world peace in the coming days.
Seriously though, what the hell did I just walk in on?
I could seriously care less about who you are, what you believe in, why you're playing, or where you're playing. If you enjoy the game, good we can have fun. If you're making the game worse/unenjoyable, I will not hesitate to ask you to politely get the **** out. If anything, there is no problem, the media is just twisting the image and causing controversy Mario is rescuing Princess Peach, Samus just blew up a planet, Luigi does nothing, Sonic runs fast, the sky is blue, we breath the air, the usual.
If anything, girls have more power over me than you would think. I respect women, though I question the modesty of some clothing and will point it out. and in general don't make any jokes that they wouldn't be capable of handling. (i.e. I walk into my room and see one of my friends (girl or guy or whatever constitutes for a gender/sex whatever) getting dress. "Who the hell called a stripper? It's not my birthday.", or I just ask out loud, "Why do girls always do...<Insert Typical Girl thing here>? I don't get it at all.")
Only thing I really disagree with is allowing women to hit a man who isn't/won't fight back. I actually hate domestic violence in general. If it's fine for a woman to hit a man, but absolutely abhorrent for a man to hit a woman, what type of equality is that? It'd be better that both get punished for violence rather than praised/insulted, especially if the victim of the violence isn't fighting back at all. I can't really say that men and women are equal, but preying on the weak, whether mentally, physically, or emotionally, is absolutely disgusting no matter who you are.

But that's enough talk about our stupid 1st world problems.
How is everyone's evening.
