I do need help in the MU actually lol. I tend to play Marth and on paper it should work but landing lag and getting grab suggest otherwise and Falco gets bopped by him as well as Bowser and Roy and IDK about Rosie.

As for Ice Climbers it's due to massive salt of CG's in Brawl and was Falco's 2nd worst MU behind .

I can fight you sometime to help you gain some knowledge on the matchup.
Marth can be either easy for us or very difficult for us. Marth is either combo meat or he just keeps us away with his range. Disjointed hitboxes don't help Luigi at all.
Out of the characters you mentioned, Rosalina gives him trouble in my opinion. Like, 60:40 Rosalina, maybe higher. Her Luma is excellent in this matchup and she exploits Luigi's vulnerability off stage. Range is a key weakness for Luigi; those with great range can bop Luigi. I wanna say Roy is also good against Luigi, but that needs more research.

I was Luigi and he is prone to every chain grab out there. Ugh, I hate fighting Falcos, Dededes, and Ice Climbers...

For the record, I don't know if I can guarantee ALL of these MECs. They were pretty damn expensive in vanilla Enemy Within. I imagine they'll still be in Long War. The only bonus we have going for us is that Long War is LONG.

Once everything is in order and I have everyone's information set up and good. Then, it'll be sometime for me to set it up. I'll need to actually start the game and get some missions played to get soldiers promoted and ranked up before I can start assigning soldiers to people and people to soldiers. In the game, every soldier starts out as a base starter class. Once they get promoted, that's when a soldier's real class is assigned.

Because this method of modding is being an absolute ***** and not working, I'm going to take an "easier" route and install the Long War mod which will make rigging the nationality weights easier, but comes with a few complexities... Namely the fact that I have never even touched Long War ever. So this will be an Adventure in more than one way. Now... How does this concern you?

I can fight you sometime to help you gain some knowledge on the matchup.
Marth can be either easy for us or very difficult for us. Marth is either combo meat or he just keeps us away with his range. Disjointed hitboxes don't help Luigi at all.
Out of the characters you mentioned, Rosalina gives him trouble in my opinion. Like, 60:40 Rosalina, maybe higher. Her Luma is excellent in this matchup and she exploits Luigi's vulnerability off stage. Range is a key weakness for Luigi; those with great range can bop Luigi. I wanna say Roy is also good against Luigi, but that needs more research.

I was Luigi and he is prone to every chain grab out there. Ugh, I hate fighting Falcos, Dededes, and Ice Climbers...

Still can't get over the fact that Wolf wasn't planned to be in Smash 4. I figured he would, so I didn't vote for him. As a huge Star Fox fan...it hurts.
I miss the IC as I'm a fan of the cute duo and I've always enjoyed playing as them...in a clean way and not their dirty, infamous, chain-graby ways. Hope to see them return one day

For XCOM folks:

I should have made this more clear from the get go but:
You do not start out as a MEC Trooper. I would have to manually make you a MEC Trooper, and the MEC Trooper classes each spawn from one of the base classes. For example, the Shogun class spawns from the Engineer class. You would have to be a base Engineer, and then I would make you a MEC and you'd be the Shogun class.

So to simplify things for everyone:
List the BASIC classes (Assault, Infantry, Rocketeer, Gunner, Sniper, Scout, Medic or Engineer) that you want, and then say if you want to be considered for MEC Trooper or not. I want to know this so I can conserve the resource needed to make people MEC Troopers and not be wasting it on Gene Mods for those people. Same with Psionic. Note: You CANNOT be MEC AND Psionic.

Recently I've been playing through Long War. I haven't gotten that far into the game (as the name implies the war is very long) yet but I'm doing pretty good. Only lost one council member and that was randomly at the very beginning. I like to name my top ranked units after video game characters. I only do it to experienced units because the red shirts( they actually have red shirts in the mod by default) die too easily to deserve getting a name.

Also, I'm gonna be honest with you guys. A lot of you want MECs. I can make you MECs, but MECs require MEC Suits to actually be fielded. MEC Suits require a limited resource and require a massive amount of this resource to boot. In all honesty, I can't accommodate this many MECs and have them all be as effective as possible on the battlefield.
