Partially celebration, partially because that's how I short-hop. Minimum height, fastfall. Gives me flexibility to double-jump near the Apex to catch jumps/airdodges I've baited out, or simply land quickly and jump again.

This is probably just me, but reusing the Awakening cast feels entirely lazy and unnecessary, it gives me a vibe that they are afraid the new characters are any good and rely on familiar faces as some sort of backup plan. It'd be fine if it was some sort of sequel, but they said this was an entirely different story in a different world, right? Eh, whatever, I'll probably ignore these guys as there's only 2 children units that I like.

Class: Mercenary
Personal Skill: (???) – Can use a support command that grants every ally within two squares of the user +1 to strength and speed. Lasts one turn only.

He loves girls, and spends his days off hitting on women. He’s great at dancing, and can use a special command in battle.

VA: Hidenori Takahashi (Same as Owain)
Class: Dark Mage
Personal Skill: (???) If the user is equipped with a forged weapon composed of 8 kanji, +10 to crit.

A spellcaster who spends his days developing “awesome special attacks.” He is easily riled up in battle, and seems as though he may lose control of his own power.

And this is Zero the Thief.

EDIT: Oops, ninjaed. At any rate, yeah, so these characters are just Owain and Inigo. Seriously. They really aren't even being subtle now.

Also, it can't be a coincidence that this means the 2ed Gen who won the popularity contest in japan and got extra scenes in the Hotspring Scramble are now in the game in some form (Severa, Owain, and Inigo through look-a-likes, and Lucina being there as herself via the magic of amiibos).

I wonder if this means we'll be getting look-a-likes of Chrom, Gaius, Tharja, and Cordelia on the Hoshido side (since the three 2ed gen look-a-likes are Nohr). At least 3 of them, with it being a real possibility that either Chrom or Gaius not getting a clone to keep things balanced, not to mention M!Robin technically being voted higher 2ed place.

I will say, I freaken love the fact that his character specific skills gives him a bonus when he uses a forged weapon with a really long custom name.

I didn't know we had a picture until just now, I was about to go back and reply to my most mentioning this mistake. Still, they seem to be giving her Noire's personality, which...uh... creativity? No, wait, the opposite of that.

Pieri looks more like Lissa with dyed hair than Noire to me. Personality sounds similar (when she's in battle), but I don't think it'll be the same as Noire's once we see more of her dialogue in the game.

Also, Noire has a cowardly and negative personality due to Tharja's constant hexes from her younger years whereas Pieri appears to be more cheerful by looking at her portrait. The only thing that makes them similar really is that they have "alter-egos".

If this is awesome, I will celebrate. MoO3 was terrible, MoO2 was God. I sank hundreds of hours into MoO2. If this can hearken back to MoO2 with some new stuff, things will be awesome.

If this is awesome, I will celebrate. MoO3 was terrible, MoO2 was God. I sank hundreds of hours into MoO2. If this can hearken back to MoO2 with some new stuff, things will be awesome.

I've tried GalCiv and Endless Space. They were good, but neither of them as good as MoO2.

I knew for a while those folks have the rights for MoO2, I'm glad they are finally doing something with it.
I still play the game every now and again, so as long as they keep things close to the second game and update the graphics I'd be golden.

There are a couple things that I'd actually take from MoO3, believe it or not (namely, the ability to design your own orbital defense units and the ability to build more than one per planet). But for the most part, they should stay close to MoO2. The series has been dormant for almost a decade now, they shouldn't take a lot of risks just yet.

The other things I liked in MoO3 were the dedicated defense ships and the ability to design your own "utility" ships (for example: your colony ships and troop transports).

As for things I didn't like in MoO3... Well... I could go on and on and on and on.

Well at least now we don't have to speculate anymore, since they literally just confirmed that these are Inigo, Owain, and Severa. Heck, Lazward even means blue in Arabic.

On to other matters, I'm really liking Pieri's design! She's definitely earned a spot on my favorites list!

Also it's nice to see more Nohr exclusives.

IIRC MoO3 also had some interesting designs that made the aliens actually look... well, alien, and not like Star Trek weird forehead ridges extras.
Though I do remember that I did not like all of them. And it's been a long time I've seen the game over at a friend's house, so my mind may be playing tricks on me.
