I think both graphics are purrfect in their own way. Sure the Wii U version is more smooth but the 3DS one has more texatures.

I completely love it. I actually like it more than the HD. I know lots of people disagree with me though.

Speaking of which! Would you mind if the 3DS story mode will be kinda like Comic Zone for Sega Genesis?

COMIC ZONE! I loved that game and would love a Smash version.

I like it. Even though slightly unintentional, the Outlining makes it have a hand-drawn look.

I think it adds to the handheld nature of Smash 3DS. Going all out HD for a handheld, especially for Nintendo, is never really the right way to go. Choosing the more cartoonish look definitely offsets the graphical limitations that the 3DS has and helps it differentiate itself from the Wii U counterpart.

I personally like it so far. Looks promising.

However, it better still look amazing when I play it on my 3ds because thats probably going to be my preferred version.

I hope there is an option to turn the outlines off.
I hope there is an option for that too, but I think it won't happen since Sakurai wants it to help locate the characters.

It looks really great IMO. Like most people said, the outline gives the characters a kind of hand-drawn style, and in combination with the characters art-style kinda makes sense too. I don't think it'll be as useful as Sakurai says, because in the latest 3ds-only stage shown (reset bomb) the outline goes missing in the dark BG.

It will be more visible in action while you are moving as it separates your character from the background clutter. Darker characters might just fade away though- Mr.Game and watch will look weird with two outlines haha.

That also makes me wonder how it'll look in 3D if it has the option. The outline might just make it cooler.

Well, we can turn off the outlines. At least our preferences will stay on our own 3DS.

I'd just keep the outlines on and off once in a awhile just to experience the art styles.

Same here. I want to see which I will like better. I think I want to stick with the outlines on though, cause they are so awesome.
