Hi, guys. If you don't know already, I'm Sir 0rion (predominantly from the Yoshi, Online, and Tactical Discussion boards).

Just for the heck of it, I went and made a "what if" video for Lucas' victory music. It's always kinda bothered me that Lucas didn't have music that came from a game he was actually in, so I wondered what it would be like if there was a Mother 3 victory music. So, this is what I came up with. Hope you guys like it.

(For those of you that haven't played Mother 3, this is a reprise of the Love Theme from M3.)

Much as I love Mother 3, I still prefer the remix of Eight Melodies from Mother as the victory song.

Their victory music in Brawl isn't the 8 melodies from Mother. That's a reprise of the title music from Mother.

Unless you're talking about Ness' Mother 2 victory theme on the other Smash games. (In which case I agree, but it still wouldn't be fitting for Lucas.)

I kinda like Falcon's victory music in Brawl, though. I thought it was an improvement over his Melee/64 theme, personally. (I also thought Game & Watch's and Zelda series' themes were a little cooler.)

I suppose I could consider it, though.

Dude, I'm telling you, you are absolutely wrong. Their victory theme is clearly heard 30 seconds or so into the title of Mother 1. It is not, nor has it ever been, Mother 1's eight melodies.

To be more specific, many melodies are mixed into parts of some songs in the Mother series. Mother 3 in particular played certain parts of songs from earlier games in the series.

While part of the opening theme is reprised in some version of the eight melodies, it's from the opening theme, and you can tell this by the fact that it's the sole melody during the opening.

What's wrong with the F-Zero AX/GX victory theme? In GX it was a sigh of relief, that game was ****ING HARD AS HELL. On top of that it sounds more rewarding than the random guitar riff from X.

I just, for whatever reason, associate that jingle with Eight Melodies. Don't know why, but I'm not neccesarily right or wrong.
