I don't have a replay, but trust me, this really happened.

I was playing on Norfair when the big lava wave from the background shows up. The safety container thing was far away, on an upper platform I do a Wizkick from a middle platform toward the center of the stage, and the wave comes during the flip at the end. I don't get touched.

Invincibility frames?

EDIT: Whoops. I should really learn the mechanics of my own favorite counterpick.

Being underneath a platform.

Being in the air.

I think it's like the POW block from SSB64. No effect if you're off the ground.

Just saying, G&W has a similar glitch where if he's floating in his parachute, he can avoid the lava wave.

Dunno if that actually explains anything.

Nothing to see here, folks. It turns out you are safe as long as you are doing any attack, based on my 30 seconds of testing. My bad, guys.

So, as long as we are here, has anyone tried Dthrow>Utilt at low %? The Utilt pulls them back to you. Then, if your opponent drops their controller or something, the Utilt connects.

Lol, ganons has combos when his opponent drops his controller.
