If they don't see what potential Sonic has then of course he'll be low.

If you beat M2K, it'll just show that you're an awesome player.

Besides, tier lists seem to be based on tourney results as well as character metagame traits. As far as people know, Sonic relies on the opponent messing up, which was the original crap that we were spewing out from here (omg! punish whiffed attack x by using Sonic's run speed!). But now, we found ways to actually damage people, step up his chasing game, and mindgames to force mistakes (of course, mindgames don't count for anything).

Sonic can be michelin tire for all I care, but you have to remember that the game is player against player, not just character vs character, so it's irrelevant to me.

Like I said in another thread no character is really the best or worst because it all depends on the one controlling the character. Thus meaning tiers are based off of who play tournies(learned from tenki) and we all kno from all the talk people believe sonic to suck so bad they dont play with him. That brings the Sonic Mainers population down. So less are in tornies, equaling to less chance of a sonic arising the victor. Which means us few people that use him need to step our game up. So... the more tournaments we win the better. And again this not impossiable just a very difficult journey we must take. If u dont wanna well you dont belong here then do you?

I mean, that's true in the sense that it doesn't help Sonic's metagame at all if we sit here lamenting his position on whatever tier/ranking/goodness list there happens to be.
