I can defnitely see an annoucment for Megaman and Sonic and a trailer. How awesome would the be. I would have so many nerdgasms you have no idea. And in that trailer they showed DeDeDe, Ridley, Megaman, Sonic, Wolf, Lucario, and Midna and Wolf Link. Oh my god I would...I would...uh!!!!!!!!!1

Edit: I just of a way to announce sonic and megaman while I was on the pot. What if mario is in the middle of battlefield and it's sunset and he's kinda jumpy. All of a sudden you see two blue blurs on either side of Mario and he flies up and black, trailer over. I'm sure from that right there everybody can figure out that sonic and megaman are in without offically announcing them.

But I'm not going to get my hopes up. They probably won't reveal much, if anything.

EDIT: omg, wait. thats Wednesday. The same day this guy said that online would be revealed. Now, normally I don't believe him, I tihnk he is just another "Brawl Prophet" troll. But that would seem like a good time to reveal online....

I found this link after a bit of searching around (and on gamefaqs :(). Apparantly Nintendo is holding an exclusive event on the 5th September to showcase material from games released this year.

Meaning Brawl and Galaxy. What can we expect? Last time this happened we got a new trailer!

I hope there will be a great Nintendo event,with awesome news about Brawl.

Not Sonic, mostly because he doesn't deserve to be in Brawl, so he shouldn't be giving his own trailer. I would rather see something new.

The intro movie would be a massive surprise, but that what I always thought the Dec 1st/2nd update would be.

I wouldn't doubt a new trailer with the characters we know about +1 or 2 more. Look at this week, remember that one week he didn't reveal any characters and the following week we had two character updates? You think this week that the conference could bring two new characters shown one vet and one new? Online I could see being confirmed, not a stretch. Sonic...sounds like something Sakurai would make us wait for, but, probably is tempted to reveal him! Haha.

We'll see, something HAS to be mentioned next week, I can't see them just showing everything at E4A or even later than September.

Didn't they do this with Twilight Princess? I recall that Nintendo hosted an event to the press where they give you 10 hours (Or around that) to play as much Twilight Princess as you want. They gave the press the final version of it to play around with.

Do you think they will do the same thing?

Argh I've got my hopes up now. Can't wait!

It would be quite funny if they did do an E3 but annouced the release dates for Brawl saying it was released next week in Japan and the week after in UK. The US version had a small glitch in it so it got delayed a year lol. (Sorry but us Brits need a big game like Brawl released early here, and don't bother mentioning Strikers)

Dude, that's a selfish desire you've got. You're going to wait like everyone else is right now. Some people have to wait more than others, but at least you're getting your game, right? Anyways, I would like it if Sakurai made a presentation about Brawl for the people there and showing us how it plays so we can get an idea of what it's going to play like.

From this I don't care about "new information" on the game other than online, really. Every other tidbit about the game can be left to the dojo site.

All that I've really been dying to see is a minute's worth of actual gameplay footage. For too long now we've been seeing more and more screenshots of characters, items, stages, and anything else, but have seen very little gameplay. And no, that 15-second E3 deal was not my idea of a sufficient gameplay montage.

A confirmation of online play and a minute or so of gameplay is all anyone can ask for when it comes to events like these, especially considering all of the information Sakurai has given us already and will continue to give us in the future on the Dojo.

Well there isn't an exact time. I'd expect something mid day. But it may also depend on what time zone this is being held. Does anybody know where the Capcom one was. It might be in the same place and time.

I'm not sure if you all know this, but the event finished up a long time ago. No news for Smash was released. The only news that was somewhat interesting was that Japan is getting Galaxy before us and they're getting the red/black DS without the bundle that we have here.
