Their Will Be A Character From Sunshine

Look at the "On-Screen Appearances" update notice what stage the characters are at:

Fox: Lylat Cruise
IC: The Summit
Pit: Skyworld
Lucas: New Pork City
Ike: Castle Siege
Sanke: Shadow Moses Island

See? Their all at their home stages execept...

Mario: Smashville

?

Why wouldn't he be the Delfino Plaza? Because that's not his stage!

So their must be a Character from Sunshine coming.

Bowser Jr. anyone?

...Smashville is an Animal Crossing Stage. Delfino Plaza is a Mario one. And Mario has FLUDD now to boot. Delfino Plaza is definitely Mario's primary stage. What the nine hells would make you think otherwise?

Bowser Jr. isn't that bad, but keep two things in mind: one, not every stage HAS to have a character...and two, FLUDD's in...good enough, if you ask me...not that I'm against Bowser Jr, jus' sayin' we don't NEED him to compliment DP...

Because all the other characters got their home stages except Mario which deserves to be at his stage more than anyone

I was thinking the same thing. Super Mario Sunshine seems to be getting a lot of represenation in this game; a stage and a new move for Mario. Well now that I think about it, it's not really a lot, but I think it's very possible there will be a character from Sunshine.

The only reason they chose Smashville is because otherwise the screenshot ended up with just water in the background. Doesn't look too fancy compared to the other screens.

As you might know Delfino Plaza starts off in the sky above the ocean.

Mario's main stage should NOT come from Mario Sunshine considering it was easily the worst of the main mario games (I include Super Mario Bro's 2) and because of the possibilities of a Mario Galaxy stage.

Thats what Im hoping for anyway.

*dont get me wrong Mario Sunshine being the worst Mario game doesnt make it a bad game by any means.

I dont hate Sunshine its an ok game.

But the worst of the main Mario series. Which is hardly something to be ashamed of.

Thats a joke, right? Sunshine was one of the best main Mario games - second only to 64 IMO. The Paper Mario games are better, but thats probably my preference for RPGs talking as much as their quality.

Except for the fact that he would have a completely original moveset and wouldn't be a clone at all...

Actually, Bowser Jr is Bowser's son (try not to think about who the mother might be...), not a younger version of Bowser. Baby Bowser would be a younger version of Bowser.

Anyway, before I duck out and avoid the impending flamefest, let me give my stand on Bowser Jr.

I think Bowser Jr. has a legitimate shot at Brawl, but I'm not counting on it, and I don't care at all either way...I'm just willing to admit that he could be in...

Wait...aren't they both Baby Bowser? The top one is the original, and the bottom is the PiT version, unless I'm mistaken, but they're both pictures of Baby Bowser...

Because it was pathetically easy, boring and Yoshi's sucked in it and they couldn't be green. Also Bowser Jr was a terrible character from the get go, II Piantisimo's races could have been hard but they weren't he was really slow. Also FLUDD was just annoying, BUT I did like the scenery and the islandy beach feel to it =]

No from the main console games I honestly rank it last. I thought it got a lot of unfair flak after it was released but that was inevitable for a game that followed Mario 64.

Maybe nostalgia has a huge part of it but Id have the NES and SNES Mario games over Super Mario Sunshine anyday and i bet theres a que of people who will agree and another who will disagree.

@Vesperview: I'll give you that...like I said, I don't care if he's in, I just think he could be...so I won't argue...I see no point in arguing for something I don't feel strongly for...

@Xianfeng: I'm pretty sure the bottom one was from PiT...I'll do a little research, but I'm pretty sure...

My thoughts exactly. If Delfino Plaza isn't Mario's stage, it could easily be Peach's or Bowser's, nothing at all points to any additional characters (not saying there wont be, but the logic that DP isn't Mario's meaning a new character just doesn't work).

Lets hope its not Bowsers anyway. Im hoping for a classic Bowsers Castle style level.
