Yes, really. You know you're out of your mind when you start suggesting Major League Baseball players to fight in a video game. But wait! Aren't the Seattle Mariners owned by Nintendo? Man, I have to stop using italics!
But let's go back to that other question. If you said yes, then you're correct! The Mariners, along with the Atlanta Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays, are the only 3 teams under corporate ownership, the Mariners being owned by Nintendo of America. I know a real person doesn't stand a chance against video game characters when being considered, but hey, a guy can dream, can't he? He could even have palette swaps from other MLB teams!
Félix could have a baseball-related moveset with different trick pitches. Here is my moveset for the Seattle pitcher:
B (Trick Pitch): Félix throws a trick pitch that is different depending on what you set it to with his Down B. The pitches are:
Up B (Bouncy Plate): Félix summons a base plate below him and bounces upwards. Good recovery move.
Down B (Switchball): Félix throws his ball up in the air, switching what pitch he will throw with his Neutral B. Text above him will show what pitch he will throw.
Final Smash (Grand Slam): Félix throws a giant baseball that flies around the screen, and when it reaches the edge of the screen, it bounces, and stays on the screen while enemies are stunned for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, it explodes into the Mariners logo.
- Fastball: The classic. Medium damage, knockback and speed.
- Curveball: An arced pitch that boomerangs back to him like Link's Side B.
- Knuckleball: A strong pitch in damage, but has very little knockback.
- Screwball: A fast spinning ball that does very little damage, but has very powerful knockback.
- Spitball: A ball that, if it lands, it turns into an obstacle people can trip on, like Diddy's bananas.
