*Smash Brothers Full Force (Eng)/Dairantou Smash Brothers IV (JP). No distinction between the 3Ds and Wii U Version in terms of the title.
*Wii U is the most polished and will be the focus of Smash's E3 showing. 3DS version will be mentioned, but won't be revealed till later this Summer via a Nintendo Direct. Both are scheduled for Late 2014 and will feature interconnectivity. Wii U version is more traditional, 3DS version will have lite-RPG elements; both will feature the same roster of characters.
*Graphic style is less realistic than Brawl, more bright and "cartoonish", with the characters being full of expression and having a hand-drawn look. Stages are equally full of life, with little touches added to the background to bring that game's world to life.
*Gameplay is quicker and more combo-oriented, but still accessible to veterans and new players alike. New gameplay element is the "Force Bar", fills up in battle by doing damage and taking hits. Can be used to perform special shielding and dodging maneuvers. By saving it up, can use the new "Full Force Mode", replacing the Final Smashes. Like Giga Bowser, Full Force Mode powers up the character for a limited time and changes their appearance.
*5 New Characters to be revealed at E3 in the debut trailer; focusing on lesser known, and new, franchises for representation in order to move out of the comfort zone and explore new gameplay possibilities.
*Takamaru from Nazo no Murasame Jou. Designed to look like his original design featured on the Famicom's box-art and promotional material, the new graphical style mimicing the classic hand-drawn anime look. Speaks Japanese even in the English version. Quick character with samurai sword play and ninja-style tricks, such as switching places with a wooden Tanuki carving.
*Beato, a "debut" character from Retro's New IP "Beat All" that will appear at E3. Beat All is being released prior to Smash Brothers Full Force, with Beato being included early on in hopes to help his popularity. Game is said to be an open-world action-adventure beat-em-up. Beato is a black Kabuto Beetle that fights like Bruce Lee, complete with the high-pitched screams. As he fights, he grows more powerful and bigger, which is how he'll play in Smash Brothers.
*Jill from Drill Dozer. Speaks in girlish gibberish and is very cute compared to her Brawl model. Always in the Drill Dozer, which can shift gears to change speed and drill power, the Drill Dozer shifts between a walking mode, drill mode, and hover mode. Changes into a "giant" (Bowser size about) mecha with a "drill dash" for Jill's Full Force.
*Little Mac from Punch Out. Resembles his Punch-Out!! Wii design. Doc Louis stands in the background of stages like Pokemon Trainer, cheering him on. Little Mac is a simple character with quick punching combos and his Star Uppercut.
*Wonderful 101 are "guest characters", appearing at the end of the trailer and all of them jumping through the air and performing a kick. Aren't shown in battle, so it is unknown how they play.
*Roy returns from Melee as the first "Comeback Veteran". Resembles his Awakening design, but less streamlined. Same fighting style with the flaming sword, but some new moves, including one where he throws his sword at the foe, then does a tackle dash to pull it out of the ground where it lands. English version now speaks english, with a young, cocky-sounding voice.
*Luigi is given focus, as he has a brand new moveset. Normal moves stay the same it appears for the most part, but now he utilizes the Poltergust for his Specials, able to suck in foes and items or blow them back, even using the vaccuum power to hover. Polterpup also used to tackle and lick foes.
*The E3 Trailer features multiple veteran characters showcasing that they have new moves: Mario uses his tanuki tail to fly upwards and his hammer to attack, Pikachu can use Iron Tail to deflect projectiles, DK can summon and toss barrels and uses his bongos for a normal attack, Marth resembles his Awakening design and speaks english, spins his sword around in his hand while moving upwards, Link is the Skyward Sword design and uses the parachute and can roll bombs, Kirby is shown using the Whip and Spear abilities from Return to Dreamland, Pit is reprised by Antony Del Rio and has a much more "dance-like" fighting style, Bowser has a stomp attack which creates a moving shockwave, and Olimar is shown throwing the Rock Pikmin and being carried by the Pink Pikmin.
*A few "Full Force" Modes are shown. Jill is the drill-mecha as mentioned before, Mario turns into the Red Star Power-Up from Galaxy, Bowser's Full Force is Giga Bowser once more, Kirby uses the Super Sword Power from Return to Dreamland, and Marth gains some cool-looking new armor and his sword glows with a bright light.
*Multiple stages shown in the trailer. New Battlefield-arena with a mountain backdrop, which goes through seasonal changes as the battle continues. New Pokemon Stadium level with Fighting Pokemon working out in the background. Bright and colorful city level with lots of weird vehicles moving around in the background, presumably Drill Dozer. "Side-scrolling" level through a Japanese garden with cherry blossom petals falling, Takamaru's probably, seems to be part of a possible Adventure mode. There are also graphically updated classic stages, the trailer showing very pretty updated versions of Rainbow Cruise, Skyworld, and Kongo Jungle.
*New Assist Trophies and Pokeball Pokemon include "followers", follow your character around like the second Ice Climber does and performs special actions. Shown doing this is Sir Kibble from Kirby, who throws boomerangs at those who approach you, Nabbit from Mario, who steals any items you come across, including those you try and pick up, Chibi Robo, a joke character who simply cleans up the path as he follows you, and Scraggy from Pokemon, who pulls its pants up and blocks attacks for you. Xerneas and Yveltal are also shown to appear via Pokeballs, but we just seem them summoned, their attacks aren't shown.
*New Items seen include the Power Glove, which shrinks or grows to fit the character's hand shape (we see Kirby wear it, and it changes to look like his arm) and boosts the power of normal attacks, Wings of Pegasus that lets the character perform additional jumps using wings that sprout out their body, and the Rocky Helmet from Pokemon, that hurts foes when they physically attack the player.
