dc - it takes time to get to a level that you feel comfortable with. I've been going to tournaments religiously since Feb. '07 and I know I'm not where I should be.
some people learn it quickly. others, like myself, take a while. the good thing about you is that you're willing to stick it out. I, on the other hand, am tired.
so just practice hard and really study your matches and don't be afraid to change your playstyle in order to adapt to the worst situations. that's probably the best advice I can give :D

Lol... Vanz sounds like he is in his 30's and is looking back at the days he was a pro. As if he was reminiscing about the wavebird era, a time when MLG still had it for melee.
Shouldnt you be like some Kungfu flick old master. You know, the 100 year old man who is only stronger than the entire empire of 25-30 year old warriors, guards, and kungfu apprentices.. Cause apparently in Japan/China you LITERALLY get stronger with age and the length of your fu-man-chu beard.

H. Kim!!! Thursday I am getting out of work at 5. I should be at NJIT by 5:30 to pick you up. From there we will return to Bayonne, switch cars and get Dan and we will head out. My estimate is that we will be at RU around 6:30 to 7. Dan is really slow with things and traffic and whatnot needs to be factored in. That is the plan - no ifs, ands, or buts. If we leave any later, it will hardly be worth the trip. We should leave RU at 11:30 ( I have to get up early the next day) and we would still have to drop everyone off so.
Everyone got that? Fellas up at RU should be ready for our arrival around the said time. Looking forward to this. Anyone have any questions?
