Many of us know Falco as a tough talking, cool, somewhat arrogant badass.
However most people don't know much about Falco's past and how he came to join The Starfox Team and eventually become a vital character in the Super Smash Brothers lineup.
This is his story...
Falco was born in the ghetto of Detroit with his father, mother and older brother.
Falco led a tough life typical to those in his area. Falco's mother was a heroin dependent junkie and his father an abusive alcoholic. Falco's older brother practically raised Falco himself and was the only one that Falco looked up to. Falco would often come home to see his mother being beaten by his father. One time Falco tried to stop his father and protect his mother but instead his father's beating moved to Falco. Falco's wings were severely damaged and his ability to fly was inhibited.
In one year both Falco's mother and father died. His Mother from a herion overdose and his father from a fatal beating from a loanshark. Although Falco was devastated by his loss he finally entered a peaceful time in his life where he lived with his brother. The peace however was not to last long. Falco's brother was killed in a gangfight and Falco lost his only friend and last known family member.
With Falco's failing grades and desire to leave the ghetto he finally decided to join the airforce. In his service at re airforce he discovered he was a gifted pilot and quickly rose through the ranks. In the time of the outbreak of the Vietnam War Falco was sent on a solo misson to investigate a guerilla fighter base. This however would lead to dire circumstances.
During Falco's fly over of the area his fighter was shot down and he was captured by the guerilla fighters. Falco was subjected to weeks of torture where his mind and body were broken. Eventually there was a successful retrieval misson and Falco was rescued.
Falco's wings were beyond repair and he completely lost his ability to fly. Falco's mind was also completely destroyed and he was granted an honorary discharge.
Falco was never seen again until recently...
