Somebody's probably gonna get a pay cut for this. Anyway, it's interesting how for the return of gyms, their leaders are now referred to as Masters.

This is the Pokémon that I prefer the most among the starters 8G... But I don't have too much hope... Already, because I have no chances with Pokémon in Smash bros, but in plus, it would surprise me that I want as much Sobble (or another Pokémon) in Smash Bros as Decidueye... Unless Sobble becomes a lancer by evolving.

Even though I think Sobble will not be in Smash Bros, I would like to bring a theory that could make him a character in Smash Bros. For that, I must share a leak on Sword and Shield, so sorry, but I'll have to put all this in spoil. It's an idea that came to me like that, so as much to offer to the fans who really want it.

Spoiler: Why Sobble would be in Smash bros

According to a leaker that revealed information about Sword & Shield, the final evolution of Sobble would be based on spies.

And that would not be a stupid reasoning, one can think that the starters of Galar will have common theme of British culture, and espionage coincides with this theme, because who is the most famous spy in the world ? 007 James Bond ! Which is part of the British culture. Besides, it's funny, because Sobble is the number 007 of the Galar's Pokedex.

And if I combine James Bond and Smash bros, we find the interview of Sakurai where he expresses his desire to put James Bond of Golden Eye 64 in Smash. So the inclusion of Sobble would be a little revenge for Sakurai.

Plus, it could be easier than it is thought to include! From a distance, Sobble is close to another starter ... Froakie. 2 animals with a close look, with a long tongue and whose final evolution is a specialist in infiltration, one is a ninja, the other a spy.

You see what I mean ? The final evolution of Sobble could be an echo for Greninja. After ... If the Sword and Shield representative is an echo, this may leave room for Decidueye to be in the game with some original gameplay, but that's a lot too fancy.

So here, if you want Sobble in Smash bros, you can relate to that, if the leaker is right on its final evolution.

They'll probably find a way to NOT include a Dark-type gym.

Scorbunny was my favourite of the starters originally. But Sobble just generally won me over a shy timid chameleon lizard water starter? What's not to love definetly one of my top top favourite Pokemon. I have a feeling it's final evolution might be as well.

But I'm going to wait to see first.

Really darn good. Using a finger as a gun like Yusuke Urameshi, and he reminds me of Gex the Gecko.

I found it weird at first, but I've come to love it. It's kinda funny, and that finger-gun artwork made it look very cool.

well some of the leaks were taken down by nintendo on copyright grounds that usually an indicator that something is real, as for intelleon i like him sobble is still my choice for starter

First of all the leaks are def real. The leaked strategy guide corresponds with the leaked game models and model leaker also sent out detailed photos of the entire dex's stats etc.

intelleon, hes okay. As is Rillaboom. Not great but pretty good. I still like the Sobble line best overall. Cinderace is ugly tho

As I picked Sobble in Pokémon Sword and named it "Riot Javelin" because I was obsessed with Dragon Ball Z at the time I started the game, I approve of this movement.

Cool. It’d be nice to see a well designed moveset for it. The only movesets I’ve seen make it either a glorified clone or give him attacks that don’t fit his character like a counter. Alert me when you’ve finished. Good luck as well

However, you're saying moves that don't fit his character like a counter. Inteleon can actually learn sucker punch, which is basically a counter, since it only works if the opponent is attempting to attack, so it may be used

I meant moreso that I saw this one moveset which just had him presume a pose and he’d counter attack with a kick. And Inteleon is a spy which imo means he shouldn’t have a counter. Spies are about staying out of sight and trying to get to their goal but if you were to give Inteleon a counter then that would just tempt the player to go near the opponent which isn’t really what inteleon is known for
