Jakor Hey I've ran into I think a bug with the create an icon feature. So this was the first time I used it and didn't think nothing of it, but then continued to add character and found something went wrong with just my first addition. So I was adding in Xenoblade Chronicles characters and the first character I add is named Alvis, so I make the icon name put Alvis for both the name and label and add it. The character info shows up and it had some Fire Emblem info in it and I was confused why it was there, but I (stupidly) ignored it and filled in Alvis' info. I search for Alvis to see if it worked and he isn't in there. I check the icon file and his PNG image is in there named IconAlvis (2), but there is no icon named IconAlvis. It dawned on me that the Fire Emblem info wasn't random and I must have made him a second icon of an existing Fire Emblem character named Alvis, except I can't find this character anywhere in the program or files and the program refuses to make my icon show up. I tried renaming my icon IconAlvis, because I honestly didn't care if some Fire Emblem character I've never heard of isn't in there, but still neither show up. I've also tried adding in Alvis again and it creates an IconAlvis (3) despite there no longer being an IconAlvis (2) and it doesn't show up either.

Well I got Alvis to work by going and removing the icon from the folder, going into the program hitting add icons from folder, then changing the name to IconAlvis (Xenoblade Chronicles), putting it back into the folder, and then having the program add icons from folder again. And I thought at first maybe I put in Arvis instead, but I double checked and the icon was saved as Alvis. This happened again, today I went to add Kirito and Kakashi. Both unlike normal had info in for them when I first made them which made think oh they must already exist, so I canceled. When I went to find them in the list they didn't exist in either the program or icon folder, so I made the icons again, but they saved as IconKirito (3) and Kakashi (2) even though IconKirito/ (2) and IconKakashi do not exist anywhere in the folder and the program refuses to let either be used.

EDIT: This time unlike with Alvis, I noticed everything I started making at some point started adding (2) onto the icon despite there not being an original. Also unlike Alvis all I had to do to make them show up was remove the (2) and hit the add button in the program. Alvis had to be removed and put back in with a different name.

I think most likely the problem is that there are characters that remain in the database but the path name to their icon is broken. Such characters don't show up in the list, even though they might still exist. In short, you can delete an icon, but this won't delete the character. I might probably add a special function so you can remove those entirely from the database.

Think you might also make an option to delete added categories if they don't have any icons in them? I know with the previous one, if I had deleted all of the icons from a certain added one (the "Memes" one in this case) and then tried to delete the said category, it would give the error message that said something along the lines where I couldn't delete it because there were icons still associated with it, even though there were none in the category.

So I've gone in added much of what I needed to my roster maker.

The problem is that I am still missing some and it is solely FE Warriors art.

Anna, Darios, Marth, Gharnef, Celica (I know I specified the Echoes version, but that was a mistake on my part), Lyn, Chrom, Male Robin, Female Robin, Lucina, Validar, Male Corrin, Female Corrin & Iago.

Jakor Forgive me for saying so, but there are still several problems with the character selection, mostly in the Character Info section.
• Sakura Shinguji is registered as a Sonic character. She is from Sakura Wars; which would be under Sega.
• Technically the Mario RPG characters (Geno, Mallow, etc.) should be under Square Enix, since they own those characters.
• Speaking of Square, Shu is credited to them when Blue Dragon is a Microsoft game.
• Spark, Blanche, Candela and Professor Willow all show up as being 3 characters instead of 1 for some reason.
• Shantae is credited to Capcom. Shantae is an indie game, therefore third party.
• Toon Zelda & Toon Sheik are still in the selection despite the fact Toon Sheik isn't actually a thing.
• Mega Hoopa also doesn't exist. What you've shown is fanart of Hoopa Unbound (which just for reference would just be Hoopa (2)).
• Many series are still missing their smash icon such as Punch-Out, Miiverse, Duck Hunt, Wrecking Crew, Final Fantasy and Street Fighter.

From an artistic perspective, some of the new icons such as Bowser (4) and King Dedede (4) are simply not up to the same quality as the previous icons.
And one personal gripe; who the heck is Mini Kangaroo? Character Info says 1971, but the only kangaroo game from that time period I can find is the Kangaroo arcade game from 1982. Who is Mini Kangaroo?!

I know Toon Sheik doesn't exist, but there is some small support for that character, and a concept for Toon Zelda was planned for Brawl.

I was just asking what Mini Kangaroo was from, but thanks for that.
I still take umbrage with the other two points, since I'd argue that if there's only one character shown it should count as such and I'm fairly certain 'Toon Sheik' was actually a coding name for Tetra, but I suppose it's fair.
There's probably a lot of other things I haven't noticed, but I'll make note of them when I see them.

EDIT: I remembered one thing, on the subject of kangaroos. Roger Jr.'s icon doesn't show Roger Jr., it shows Roger Jr.'s mother. Roger Jr. is the joey in the pouch.

Thanks to a courteous ResetEra user, I finally have the elusive Simon Belmont art I've been searching for. Now I have the perfect icon!
