Smash Master
The Super Smash Bros. for Switch Roster Bingo Thread!

Back when Smash 4 was in its tumultuous speculation phase, a game of bingo was played to try and guess the roster. Some got much closer than others and some even got bingos, but it was fun for everyone. Now, It's time to bring it back for yet another Super Smash Bros. title. Here are the basic rules:Credit goes to @God Robert's Cousin for making the Bingo Thread for Smash 4.
1. Each bingo card must be five squares by five squares. A free space is completely optional, so, if you want to challenge yourself, you can get rid of it entirely.
2. Any newcomer (except for the Inklings, since they have already been confirmed) that originated from a video game can be used in the squares. General series squares are not allowed (such as "Character from Legend of Zelda" or "Character from Star Fox"). However, a general square for a Generation 8 Pokemon or the Fire Emblem 16 lord are allowed.
3. Specific veterans that are deemed at risk of getting cut are allowed. They are detailed below:
- Greninja
- Dr. Mario
- Dark Pit
- Lucina
- Mewtwo
- Lucas
- Roy
- Ryu
- Cloud
- Corrin
- Bayonetta
- Ice Climbers
- Young Link
- Pichu
- Squirtle
- Ivysaur
- Pokemon Trainer
- Snake
- Wolf
4. Duplicate characters are not allowed. There can be only one of each character on any board.
5. Every time a character is confirmed as playable, their square is filled with a green check. If they are confirmed as an Assist Trophy or Pokeball, an alternate costume, a stage element, a boss, or an enemy, they will be filled in with a symbol of a person in yellow. If they are deconfirmed, they will be filled in with a red "X".
6. If five confirmed playable characters are in a row, congrats! You just got yourself a bingo! If you get a row with four playable characters and one unplayable character (yellow square), you will get an "almost" bingo. Both of these will be hard to get, but if you manage to get one, you will be very lucky.
Here is an example bingo card:
In the above spoiler is an example Bingo card, complete with a five by five grid. Here is an example on how scoring works:
- Let's say Dixie Kong, Wolf, Spring Man, Balloon Fighter, and Rex and Pyra are all in the game as playable fighters. In this case, it would be a bingo.
- Now, let's say Bandanna Waddle Dee, King K. Rool, and Rex and Pyra are all playable, but Mimikyu is a Pokeball Pokemon. Counting the free space, this would be an "almost" bingo.
I hope that covers everything. Down below is where you will find some resources that I have provided to make a board. Instructions on how to set one up are also included. Of course, you can just make your own if you would like, as long as it follows the requirements.

Above is the link to a Google Drive containing the template for a board and some icons that can be used. This will continually be updated with new icons as needed. Here are the instructions:
- First, download the PNG file for the board template. Then, choose your image editing software of choice and go to town!
- Open either the .xcf or .png file for the template.
- Once the template is open, go to "View" and then select "Show Grid" and "Snap to Grid".
- Then, go to "Image" and then "Configure Grid". Select 400x400 as your dimensions.
- To gain access to an icon, just go to "File" and then "Open as Layer". As soon as you put it in, voila! As you move it around with the "Move" tool, it will automatically fill in the slots on the Bingo Card!
- Once you have a full bingo card, click "Export As" to save the file as a .png. Be sure to also save the original file just in case!
- After you're done, the image size may be too large to upload to the forum. All you need to do is find an image compression or resizing website and it should condense it below 2MB.
SUBMISSIONS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED!!!
And with that, LET THE BINGO BEGIN!
