You guys are crazy. Hax is SHOWING us some of fox's best tools... you kidding me? Who else can TAS ledgedash + dash + nuetral air approach frame perfect 4/5 times in tournament vs the highest level of competition possible? And that exact maneuver is something NO OTHER FOX does. And he catches his opponents off guard so often it's ****ing ridiculous. Calling him a smart falcon player playing fox is just comical. He is an insanely gifted melee player that loved playing falcon, and is one of the few people that can switch to a much different character and play that character at an extremely high level. There is no "how fox should be played" guideline. Fox is the character you get to express yourself with. Options are through the roof. Hax is on that 20XX ****.... I hope Abate is too... year of luigi lol
Hax seems to think that good shield pressure with Fox is using shine as many times as possible. 20XX fox should shine>grab

Now don't get me wrong, I think Hax is is an incredible player and I believe he can make laser-less Fox work, but I think he should incorporate more conservative play. The interview with Leffen at Beast 4 pretty much sums up why Leffen has progressed so much as a player and why Hax still lost to Abate even after switching to Fox. Its all about how you play the game.

It's pretty easy to criticize, especially with closing statements as insightful as "it's all about how you play the game". lol. Do you really think shine + grab is 20XX ****? Lol. Anyway, I can agree that he can incorporate more conservative play similarly to how mango's fox did at EVO (and I'm sure he's fine tuning his game as still being a relatively new fox main), but you can't really say much about the most consistently technical fox (in tournament, not combo vids) in the game, that just forced mango to switch away from fox dittos is going about the game wrong. I mean, you are just a random dude on smashboards, after all. When someone's style doesn't perfectly resemble the current metagame, it doesn't automatically mean they're doing something wrong. Bottom line is hax has seen a lot of success with fox in a short amount of time while competing at the highest level of play available... pretty much the best way to acquire haters.

Honestly guys this discussion is pointless. Had isai been trying none of these scrubs would have a chance.

Hax should just play better. It's all about playing better.

Leffen is a ****ing scrub. USA.

20xx yo. *posts video of technical fox spamming shine on some scrub that can't SDI
