Watching these tutorial videos reminds me of how when I was in college the way I basically passed my web design class in two weeks after being entirely behind was by just being given the assignments and the textbook and dedicating my time to using the answers in the book to reverse engineer the desired result from the assignment. Figuring out how to do what I wanted to do, instead of being taught "this is how you do this thing in general now apply it to a separate compatible scenario. So I'm thinking I need to change my approach, but I'm not sure how. Any advice?
