On one hand, he's a very relatable villain: all he wants is a perfect future(who doesn't?) but on the other hand while you can relate to his motives, at the same time it's obvious that's he full of **** when it comes to execution. Don't even get me started on his followers who all have their own reasons for joining him, and most, again, are really relatable, while at the same time coming off as... misguided, I guess.

Stride Gate Hen is easily the best Vanguard season, nay, probably one of the best anime plots I've seen period, card game stuff aside.

actually no. Won't spoil it but the cards are practically irrelevent to his scheme, instead, he's using a certain group of units as a power source. The card game is simply the agreed upon fighting method here, and it's a nice change of pace from stuff like Link Joker hen or card game anime in general.

Honestly if you just removed the card game and replaced it with... like traditional anime magic stuff the anime wouldn't change one bit. It's not like Yugioh where it's 100% dependent on the cards to further the plot.

Man, pulling a critical hit on Shadow's feel soooooooo good.

Shame that I missed that FREAKIN' SECRET MISSION 3, Secret Mission 8 sort of gave me another chance to deal with 3 Shadows, but it's not the same, maaan.

Also, I'm already at mission 16, and I got the Nightmare Gun early, yeeeea.

Which is funny, since the whole game thing is a core plot of Yugioh's plot and was created later on for the manga itself. The original one just had some games in general, but the focus was on Death games and all. In some ways, the dub made it more fun with the soul-taking. And darker overall too. A fate worse than death and all.

Though them keeping Bandit Keith alive was great. Too bad he barely showed up afterwards(one video game fixes it by making him the new leader of the Rare Hunters. The game isn't great, but they made him pretty cool).

That's a huge flex, that's basically going "I could obliterate you with nukes but I want to smash your spirit in Street Fighter II instead".

More like YGO was changed to need the cards for plot purposes, the original intent was just to make Atem move on, but he couldn't do that without the trading card versions of the Egyptian Gods for some reason.

The endgame is also similar to what you presented, as the only way Atem could've passed on anyway with the God cards was to be beaten, but Duel Monsters was the only thing they had.

No matter who wins, we have checks and balances in place. Sure, the States are far from perfect, but I'm thankful to live here compared to nations that don't live in any kind of democracy.

Drink calming tea. Listen to music or something. Have an ice cold coca-cola. There is far more to life than the election, as important as it is.

i find it so stupid how You Couldn’t go anywhere without voting be shoved in your face.
Like my brother stopped at American Eagle when we went to the mall and the second you walk in is like 50 different pieces of American eagle voting themed clothing.

That’s just insane especially when their target audience cant vote. It’s just become a tiring cooperate mess as everywhere has been like this.

It’s gotta be Cap right? Iron Man is a war criminal billionaire and Cap is most famous for punching Nazis. Iron Man would raise the military budget (“suit of armor around the world”) vs. Cap who dismantled government surveillance in Winter Soldier. In the real world Cap would make for a far better president, even if in the MCU Iron Man is framed as being right because of Thanos’s eventual victory in Infinity War.

Been a while since I've been online. Decided to come back because I realized logging off to avoid AOC spoilers wasn't really the best way to dodge them...

I'll just attempt to dodge any posts with spoilers in them.

As for me, I'm trying to figure out why Disney+ screwed over the numbering on Owl House episodes. Good show though.

I feel like such a dumbass not knowing which part of the hospital to go to for a urine culture and wandering between rooms only for them to tell me it was the first place I stood in for a few minutes. I was confused because it said blood lab. Big oof moment
