I would definitely want all of us going together. I don't plan on actually entering the tournament, but I've been asked by many people to go anyway, so if thats the case, we might as well all go together.

One of the problems is that I'm not 100% active (hell, not even 50%), but I do want to plan this trip somehow. I can't seem to organize meetings that well anymore because of how scattered we all kinda are.
But I figure we have now until May or June to have a meeting and eventually figure out what to do. I would also like to see everyone that I haven't seen in ages.

I don't know if you guys remember me from Smashtality and what not but I'm sure alot most of you do! anyway I wanted to talk to you guys about something, needless to say I think when CCX went down I swore I'd be back and more powerful then you could possibly imagine. (although probably in much less dramatic words (or much more knowing me)) anyway I couldn't come to any meeting or anything like that but if you guys have skype or speaker phone and still have some kind of meetings I would like to propose something.

AngelCX has previewed for me some of the plans he wants to set in motion. He and some of our old friends from the former-CCX have a new venue that they'd like for us to set up.
I'm not sure how active any of you are out there, but I want to know if there is any real interest and helping their store while bringing back the kind of energy that we used to have at CCX. Maybe we can all come together on this and become really active again.
Please discuss your thoughts.

I love that Philly is active, and we always <3 Mogwai.
But somehow, the feedback isn't very encouraging, or simply enough, to spend some time on this.
Edit: I just looked at the TSA NJ roster. I didn't realize how much we've shrunk. I could have sworn there were more.

Well WoZ this is completely irrelevant and I know I brought it up about a year ago, but if you need a LAN center near CCX (or just a 2nd venue for the heck of it) there's terra-bite in Pompton Lakes. The owner is a total scrub, but he'll let you have the venue for a day if he gets 20% of the profits (Or at least that's as low as I've gotten him to go). I know you and Sensei have been there before and it's a decent venue, I think less table space/setups than CCX though. It's not needed, but it's there.

So some exciting news. I finally went ahead and bought myself a new laptop. Hooray!
I honestly don't know much about computer specs, but I went ahead and customized the laptop with what I thought might have sounded good. Let me know if you agree.

It looks like you splurged a little for that one. You got blu-ray, wireless N Card, (I think the webcam is standard now but the fingerprint reader isn't).
To take advantage of that Wireless N card, make sure you get a wireless-N router. I just hooked one up and it makes a pretty significant difference.
I could have got you a deal on that too. When I worked for Blue Cross I registered my school email address to get employee pricing deals from HP. After the Co-op was over I still got the employee pricing deals when I logged in from that email.

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Dorney Park on Saturday May 23rd. We had a good time at Six Flags last year and I think Dorney Park is a much better park. Anyway, I know it is short notice, but if we can get a decent sized group together pretty quickly, we could get a group rate. Otherwise we can just show up and have a good time with full price tickets (I think full price is like $37 a person if you buy online). I know in previous years you could get buy one get one free tickets with a coke can.
Anyway, it would be cool if we could all hang out again. Non TSA smashers are also VERY welcome to come. It isn't like we could stop you anyway. Regardless of who goes myself and my girlfriend are going so you will at least have two other people to hang out with.
