Does anyone want to rimlight Toon Zelda? All recolors are done with renders and I'm working on a banner right now, but I need rimlight for screenshots.

Actually... I might get done. Just need somebody to rimlight the semi costumes and make renders for all costumes. Screw the boom costume, ill let ledge or cahalan handle that if they want to.

I'm in the process of redoing Pichu. I'm using the model featured in Brawl Minus, but the problem is that there's no costume with the goggles and such added on. That means that this release of pichu will just have him in his normal outfit, if you want goggles pichu with this "new" model, you'll have to import them.

Edit: Those weird lighting spots are affected by the model's normals... that means that Melee Pichu can still be salvaged, it'll just take alot of work... (I don't know how to edit normals) Does anyone here have experience with editing a characters normals, that's the only way to correct the dark spots?

So I felt that the textures weren't really good for Toon Zelda so I'm redoing the textures. Fortunately, Toon Zelda is similar to OOT Zelda, so that made the skirt so much easier.

Is the Mario Kart R.O.B. going to be updated at all? I remember someone pointing out to me that he was missing some stickers or details on the costume that are present on the default PM version, and he also isn't rimlit.

there's a Smash 4 Jiggs mod out there, it's worth it because it has a lot more expressions and apparently doesn't mess with the moveset, and even better, is lagless.
the best method would be to wait until the PM version releases, so they can just take the bandanna from it and put it on the Smash 4 model
I've been using the best incarnation of that in PM for a while now...

*scrubtastic question alert*

Would anyone happen to know of a guide that covers making proper CSS icons with the light outline around the character's mug?

I've got one for Sonic that's lacking it, and I'm a total PS narb:

Been searching everywhere and came up dry. Probably not the right thread to post in either, but hey.

Why are you gonna use his Sonic 06 portrait if you want Brawl Sonic so badly?

And if you have photoshop, you can probably add a glow effect around it by double-clicking the layer's box, then looking for the "outer glow" tab, and trying to replicate the glow the other icons have.

Maybe it's just me, but the brim on the side of the hardhat seems nonexistent. At least when compared side by side with the official render off of the box art, that is.

I see what you're getting at now. It's subtle but definitely present. Nothing a little vertexing can't fix, though.
