The unbreakable, must be followed rules:

Rule 1: No duplicated pokemon.
Rule 2: No unevolvable Magicarps, Caterpies, Burmys... the useless pokemon. None of them. The full list of unallowed pokemon is...

Magicarp, Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna, Unown, Wurmple, Cascoon, Silcoon, Burmy, Combee, and Feebas.

Rule 3: No legendaries, please.
Rule 4: When you post to say what your challenge is, you must state what Game you are playing and if you can Trade or not.
Rule 5: First 6 people to post pokemon that are correct (through the rules) go on the team. You may only give out 1 pokemon per post per team. Teams built by 1 person (Even someone as random as me) tend to be lacking in creativity.
Rule 6: If you don't like a pokemon, and refuse to use it, when you post the challange you HAVE to say what it is and to not let it on. If someone posts a pokemon and you don't like it, and you never said no to it, to bad.
Rule 7: HAVE FUN. This may be a challange, but it is not meant to be mind bogglingly hard, and it is not meant to be frustrating. This is not playing Kaiso Mario, or doing a Nuzlocke challange. It may be hard, but perhaps, just MAYBE you will find something cool out. For example, FEAROW ended up being my MVP in a challange I did of FR because of Toxic and it's speed!

How to post a pokemon: If you want to post something, then do it like this.

*If you want to post a challange* I want a challange for Diamond, no trading.

*If you want a to post a pokemon* Mattman324, take a Krikitune. Name it "Tutuw00t", and it must know Fury Cutter.

Odd things that didn't fit anywhere else: Apperantly, the competitive nature of Smogon has driven some to Races. There are some special rules for races.

The normal Rules 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 are fully intact.

Rule 4 is intact, because both of you are playing the same game. -_-

Rule 5 is now this: Your opponent is now the one who decides what you use. As you can see down the page (Post 9), we both tried to give each other hard, but fair challenges, I expect the same.

Rule 6 is in no way intact. Use whatever techniques you can to stop your oppenent, as long as it doesn't break rules.

A new rule: If one of you has access to speed up via emulator, the other must as well. Plain and simple.[/collapse]

Playthrough of Pokémon Emerald, no trading. Must be obtainable by fourth gym(s).
Male Slakoth ("FAT PIG"), must always know Yawn - Petalburg Woods
Numel @ Macho Brace, can't evolve ("Slugma") - Route 112
Marill ("BallRat") - Requires Surf
Shedinja ("SpiredMoth") - Route 116
Snubbull, can't evolve, can't learn TMs/HMs, only damaging moves ("Mittens") - Safari Zone
Tropius ("Terywj") - Route 119

FireRed Playthrough:
Squirtle ("Bubbler"), must always know Tail Whip - Starter
Nidoran ("Checkmate"), must immediately evolve to final stage - Route 3
Psyduck ("Bomb Squad"), is the bomb squad - Super Rod fishing
Abra ("Lazy"), must learn Rest

Let me see if I understand the rules. I can only get 6 pokemon per game because other people pick for me, except the banned ones and legendaries. If Im racing only my opponent can pick for me and I have to state my emulator speed. I did get this right right?

In that case Im doing Pokemon Emerald and is open to anyone who wanna race with me. If we race, Im going to be using an emulator speed of 1000% (yes Im that impatient). I also cant trade (lol emulator)

I think thats it and at least this doesnt sound frustratingly difficult like the nuzlocke challenge (atleast the normal rules, because the rng version was pretty easy)

btw annoying, get yourself a Marill and name it BallRat

(It cant be ANY pokemon? that sucks it has to be obtainable in game, there needs to be set of rules for any)

Playthrough of HeartGold, no trading. Must be obtainable by the fifth gym (Chuck). One Pokemon must be obtained via the PokeWalker, and one must also be Psychic-type. The Pokemon obtained via the PokeWalker and the Psychic-type cannot be one and the same, although the PokeWalker accessible may also be a Psychic-type (if that makes sense).

Those two rules have already been fulfilled.

annoying1359, get a Male Slakoth and name him FAT PIG. It must always know Yawn.

Basically, you just post a game you'd like to do this challenge in and give some extra rules as you see fit. Other people then tell you what Pokemon to use on your team and can give any other specifications they want. You HAVE to use these Pokemon through the entire game.

EDIT2: My only question is whether or not we have to specify whether the Pokemon we give you can evolve or not, because I don't want you to just go through the game with a Slakoth. You can evolve it and such.

Also, I forgot to ask, can you use cheats to obtain pokemon that are obtainable in mid game like Absol or must I actually catch them in wild.

In which case, from now on, any pokemon must be obtainable before the fifth gym.

I dont wanna be stuck with a mudkip for half of the game >_>

Yayyy, my Psychic-type is out of the way now. So the only other thing to be fulfilled is my PokeWalker Pokemon.

roacherman, get yourself a Seedot and nickname it **** Head (you can interpret what the asterisks are...obviously I swore, but you don't have to or whatever). It can't evolve until after Glacia.

And you thought YOU were harsh.

Terywj, get yourself a Meowth and nickname it either Bonnie or Clyde; Bonnie for female, Clyde for male. It must keep Pay Day from the moment it can learn it. It cannot evolve at all. Ever.

Well if you wanted to at least have a somewhat easier time, you can sit there and search for Pikachus until you get one with a Light Ball.

I still need three more. Like I said, more people need to get in here and start requesting. Maybe I'll post in the Snorlax Room for people to come in here and help.

EDIT: @Roacherman: Seedot learns Explosion, if that helps. :3 And you can evolve it! You just have to wait until you beat Glacia. I know how I would do that, but I guess it's up to you to find a method for getting him to evolve immediately after beating the Ice-type Elite Four member.

Megalomaniac, get bulbasaur. The catch is that it must never evolve and it can only know status affecting moves. Can be moves that can lower defense or maybe moves that can paralyze, your choice of moves, it must never damage once though

Reverted back to the original because Terywj saved Megalo from having an epic fail team.
