Also isn't 53 characters+Random how much space the leaked roster would have if more characters were added?

But, I am genuinely curious if anyone here actively cares in any way to here the opinions of people who actively belittle others on here to prove a point? Whether Ridley is in or not, whether you want him in or not. I find it ridiculous that people can really sit on the internet with this false sense of superiority and bag on other people. All the main directs, so far including the recent Japanse one had at least a days warning in advance, not to say they didn't just upload/broadcast one out of nowhere before, the tomodachi life one came out of nowhere I think. But I wouldn't get hyped about it given how obscure and odd it is only that site knows.

I wanna make my own for fun

Stats​

Size: 9/10 Bad for comboability against and a huge target
Weight: 8/10 Pretty heavy so it's tough to knock him out
Strength: 7/10 Not as strong as Bowser but does have super armour and KO potential
Speed: 5/10 Slow and awkward moving on the ground, but lightning fast in the air
Recovery: 7/10 No gliding mechanic, can multiple jump up to 5 times, mostly just vertical recovery for Up B
Air Game: 10/10 Best airs that cover many options
Ground Game: 1/10 Slow and a bumbling idiot on the ground. Stay away from the ground at all costs!!
Description: Ridley is the complete opposite of Little Mac, with a strong air game and weak ground game. However, it is made up with a killing but risky F-Smash and an okay crouching game. Rolls are slow and predictable. Ridley uses wings when shielding.
Design: Roidley design from Other M
Special Ability: Ridley is the only character (aside from Sonic in SSBB) that can air pivot, simply smash the stick just like dashing to pivot the direction you want to be. This is great for mind games and for Ridley to develop a deep meta game. No momentum is lost if you pivot sides. Also useful for recovery which you'll see later on.

Specials​

Bstandard : Supernova
A chargeable fire ball that deals no flinch (only when not fully charged) and deals burn damage to the opponent for 10 seconds. 10% damage
When fully charged, the Supernova bursts into a Solar Flare-esque animation which can kill opponents at around 85%, no burning effect

Customs:
White Dwarf Trap
Tiny white fireballs that act as a trap, 2 can be sent at a time, Ridley can control where they land and will remain in the air until the opponent runs into them or none are touched within 10 seconds (Like Zelda's Din's Fire in Project M)
12% Damage per ball, no burning effect

Red Giant
Serves the same function as Mario's Giant Fireball
18% damage if opponent doesn't move when the three hitboxes are activated
6% per strike, no burning effect

Side B: Screech Stun
Ridley screeches at the top of his lungs and stuns his opponent momentarily to set up an attack! This move also pushes Ridley back a bit and cancels on the ground. So you can air pivot for Ridley to face away from the stage and use this side b to get back on track!
8% Damage

Customs:
Damaging Screech
A screech that causes opponents to flinch and cover their ears
No recovery use sadly
11% Damage

Sonic Screech
Screech covers further distance and stuns for a longer time but it is very hard to hit
Amazing recovery use
No damage

Up B: Stellar Black Hole
Ridley jumps and grabs any opponent on top of him and takes him for a spin in the air, while his opponent is left spinning uncontrollably, Ridley flies up high and comes down smashing into his opponent. Meteor Smash but small grab hitbox/mediocre start up and recovery
If there is no opponent Ridley just flies upwards, Ridley can act out of it if he lands a successful attack
19% damage

Customs:
Supermassive Blackhole
Same as above but Ridley bites his opponent twice during spinning them in the air with him before he flies up and drops the bomb.
Slower start up and poor recovery, still meteor smash
26% damage

Miniature Blackhole
Ridley flies diagonally and covers a huge distance, if opponent gets caught into it they just twirl in the air or in place momentarily (not long enough for follow up) but nothing else
No damage

Down B: Jump Quake
Ridley does a quick jump in place which sends shock waves
Under Ridley: 15% damage
Shockwaves: 7% damage but more knockback the closer the shockwave is to Ridley
Move also works well aside from the ground, in the air, Ridley just flies downward onto the ground 10% damage

Customs:
Hurricane Jump
Same as before but there's a hitbox when Ridley jumps upwards but no shockwaves
On top of Ridley: 12% damage
Under: 15% damage

Grounded Jump:
Ridley does a short hop in place that grounds his opponent if they are under him or caught by the shock waves
6% damage

Moveset​

Jab Combo: Claws and Teeth and Tails Oh My
Ridley claws the opponent, then bites them, followed by a tail sweep that acts as the combo finisher.
2%,4%,5%

FTilt: Demon's Horn
Ridley pokes you with his wing
2% damage, slow cool down to tuck his wings

DTilt: Double Swipe
Ridley swipes the ground with his claws twice
3%,3% can be kinda spammed, only good tilt ground move

UpTilt: Tail End
Ridley swipes his tail upward, slow startup/ cool down
6% damage

Dash Attack:
Body Slam
Self explanatory, slow to get up from and easy to dodge
14% damage

FSmash:
Star Swipe
Ridley charges at the opponent and swipes with both claws at once. A devastating move with super armour but if Ridley misses, he will tumble to the ground
31% damage

DSmash:
Resonant Wing
Ridley spreads out his wings and smacks them down violently and sends opponents up for air combos
22% damage

USmash:
Cosmic Claw
Ridley swipes from the ground up and covers his entire perimeter with his claw, but it has a long cooldown
19% damage

Nair:
Galaxy Flip
Ridley somersaults twice in the air very quickly, the first being a tucked somersault and the second being with an outstretched tail that meteor smashes at the tip, hard to land the meteor smash but can be done twice in the air easily
10%,12%

Fair:
Big Flap
Ridley barrel rolls in place with his wings outstreched, like Sonic's fair in brawl
Up to 17%

Bair:
Comet Tail
Ridley wiggles his tail repeatedly
Up to 13%

Dair:
Spike Bounce
Ridley aims his tail straight down and bounces twice on it off the ground, second hit sends opponents up for air combos
16%,16%

Grabs:
Pummel: Pokes at opponent with the end of his tail while holding them. 2%
Up Throw: Ridley tosses the opponent upwards and crunches them between his wings. 12%
Down Throw: Ridley flies just above the ground and drags his opponent across it. 10%
Forward Throw: Throws opponent, can be followed up with air combos. 9%
Back Throw: Throws opponent then hits them with tail, killing move. 15%

FINAL SMASH:
Ridley Finale
Flies straight up and appears in the background. Space Pirates appear from ships and start attacking the opponent. In the end, Ridley flies towards the screen super fast with his wings outstretched and knocks the opponent away.

Space Pirate Jab: 6%

Personally, the space raid idea (conparing it to Pit's Brawl FS) isn't something I would hope for. I feel like Lucario's FS from Brawl would be a awesome FS for Ridley if it isn't a cinematic FS.
