Well if I want to become a game developer I should learn on how to make area's and levels eventually too so I probably should at some point. And I think due to the simplistic layout of St.Mystere, it should be a good practice map for me to start with. But that's just me really. If you feel comfortable doing it and want I am more than sure you will be able to make it
I'm hoping to do a 3D adventure much akin to the Legend of Zelda series. Although if that ends up being too grand of a task, I don't really mind trying out to make a game with a top-down perspective much like A Link Between Worlds.....providing you know the coding and stuff ( not sure if you would go top down 2d or 3d as you can clearly do 3d art well ) it should be achievable
In regards to supporting his inclusion, here are a few points to get started with (some of these points I used back on Layton's day for the RTC thread, which I will also be using when I work on my Smash Ballot for him).I'm currently going to do an article on Layton, what should I bring up when it comes to his inclusion? And what music should I put in for people to enjoy reading?
well the poll ive conducted in my head shows he's doing very wellDoes anyone have a poll where Layton ia ranking high in requests?
Wow, I'm happy to see I not the only one super passionate about this
A compilation of Layton support I made and found all over the web. It's a small sneak peek of the Layton article.
well we better find a way to make one thenI think a dedicated fansite for the Professor Layton series could do wonders for the franchise. A lot of fans of the series could come together and talk and contribute about it as well as continuing to show their support for the franchise so that it can remain at the very least as a cult classic.
sounds coolI would if I knew how to, fogbadge. You would need someone with good knowledge on how to build a website though.
Anyway, I decided to open up my personal 3D modelling thread over at the Professor Layton group in case you guys are interested in checking that out. I'll be sure to update it regularly and try to maintain the group a little better as I go along too. Hope you enjoy.
Where exactly can we find this wonderful wonderful thread?I would if I knew how to, fogbadge. You would need someone with good knowledge on how to build a website though.

I don't think its as much them wanting to make more Layton games as its them just giving the series a friendly nod..... If only though.... ^^The latest episode I watched of the Yokai Watch anime has very obvious references to Professor Layton, certainly shows Level-5 is still wanting to produce more Layton games.
(It's Episode 43 if you want to see it.)
It's over at the Professor Layton group. Would you like me to send you an invite?Where exactly can we find this wonderful wonderful thread?

Come to think of it, I wonder why they never made an anime for the series. They have done so for Inazuma Eleven and now Yokai Watch and Eternal Diva was pretty popular too if I recall correctly....
