So basically Layton is not deconfirmed since he is just not on the boxart and he could still be in the game? It's leaked boxart. And for people using the Ubisoft excuse:

He's not shown as the guest character in the game, so I think it means Layton is not playable. So basically Layton is not deconfirmed since he is just not on the boxart and he could still be in the game?
Well, when it comes to Third Party characters, you would think that such important characters that serve as major selling points for the game would be mentioned on the box art. While not out of the question, it would be very odd for them to keep a Third Party character hidden in the game.So basically Layton is not deconfirmed since he is just not on the boxart and he could still be in the game?
More or less if Rayman is anything to go by at least. But most likely not as playable as I explained in the previous page (Also I think someone said that the text advertising Sonic, Megaman and Pac-Man says that these are all the playable guests or something along those lines)So basically Layton is not deconfirmed since he is just not on the boxart and he could still be in the game?
They are plenty of good-looking Layton Miis out there, especially for Tomodachi life, it's the closest thing to a playable Layton.Never thought his chances were that great anyway, but this is still depressing news. Well, at the very least Layton has a simplistic face that would be easy to recreate as a Mii. Just a quick Google search of "Layton Mii" brings up a couple good ones.
In other Layton-related news, I bought a copy of The Diabolical Box online a couple of days ago and it should be coming in the mail today, so at least I have that to look forward to. =)
What about Konami?I hope we get Layton music and stages too. It deserves it more than any other company not named Namco, SEGA, and Capcom.
Yes even Konami, above Bomberman and Metal Gear content getting in the game. What about Konami?
Probably too long, but...So what line should I add to the support thread's title?
I've been thinking of these few.
"Goodbye then, Little Village."
"Our shared past, and our Lost Future."
"We will miss you, and our Unwound Future."
"This is so long, not goodbye."
Any other suggestions? :/
"This is My Final Puzzle Indeed"So what line should I add to the support thread's title?

I really like this one, being a great existing quote from the games. This one gets my vote."Our shared past, and our Lost Future."
Yeah, the voting is certainly taking longer than I was hoping it would.... You know, I think I should just go ahead and title it "We will miss you, and our Lost Future" So it's kind of like a mix of both the US and EU lines of Claire from the last game of the original trilogy. I kinda like it too and it fits well imo.So not much votes going quickly, not what I expected.
Alrighty, invitation included.Invitation sounds like a title Level-5 would make for their official game, sure put Invitation if you want. XD
I think we only know all of the customizable special moves just for Mii Brawler specifically.
I hope there's a fencing sword in the customization moveset.
Yeah I thought so too.Probably the disc most likely since that looks the most gentlemanly and normal, Layton doesn't really use ninja stars nor does he create wind at all.
At least from what's been confirmed, I checked the Smash Wiki but I guess I should look up the trailer again just to be sure.Ha! A hint coin! (Now I'm ironically thinking of Mario's Super Jump Punch as his recovery)
Are you sure that's all the special moves we saw so far for the Mii Sword Fighter?
Maybe you should look into the Mii reveal trailer again.
It's really nice to know that we are actually planning Mii movesets that fit characters now.
Well at least Luke tries to be a good Brawler.....Emmy would most likely be a medium-sized Brawler, I dunno about Luke, but he would most likely be lightweight IMO.
I agree, so from this list, I'd see Emmy use
I think Emmy would take all the kicking based special moves for her moveset. Since in most of the Layton cutscenes I see with her involve swift kicking.
