Wow, Charmander. Clutter = excessive threads and posts. After this post, no casual talk in this thread. While the Zelda and Mario forums discuss news in their news threads, this one differs in its purpose. This thread exists solely to deliver news to you guys, not to discuss it. You can discuss it in the confines of any related threads. On that note, DO NOT create a thread based on a news topic without permission.

I hardly see how we're supposed to have a News thread without discussion for it. That's just going to complicate things with having to discuss it in other threads and mentioning the news there. Tbh the thread overall is kind of useless, if it's BW info, it can be posted in the BW thread, etc.

We already have a BW thread, a HGSS thread, a social room, etc - all valid places to post news at.

And so this post isn't spam... -_-

Well the ideal way this thread would work would be so every post is solely a piece of news and/or a whole article, so we'd essentially be archiving our own Pokemon news here so people didn't have to go to Serebii or Bulbapedia for their news; they could depend on their fellow Pokemon fanatics here on SWF to do the job. But given how this thread is already falling apart, we should have just locked it from the getgo and allowed only mods to post news so it stayed organized.

On other words, it would be a sort of "news feed" thread.

Which is a cool idea, but theres no way to keep that in moderation. In order to achieve that specifically it would be better for the author to either update the OP or to include links to posts.
