Me said:
Pichu Bros. - My proposal for Pichu is that we have the Pichu Bros. replace him. This is a compromise for both sides of the community (the ones that want Pichu to stay and the ones that want him out) because it keeps Pichu in the game but it replaces it with an identifiable duo. The Pichu Bros. are pretty important in Pokemon Channel and can definitely have a cool, unique moveset.
The Pichu Bros. are arguably the most famous duo of Pokemon. They've been in both the movies and several games. I haven't played it, but according to the article I linked to above, they played a pretty important role in the Gamecube game Pokemon Channel.

I think this is actually a really good way to please everyone when it comes to Pichu. A lot of people would really like to see Pichu stay simply because they like the character. Probably more people would like to see Pichu go because they don't like how he's just a clone of Pikachu and they don't see any way for Pichu to add to the gameplay in Brawl. This is a compromise because it keeps Pichu in the game but it also gives him a completely unique moveset.

Possible moves:

A - Headbutt. The bros. would simply headbutt whoever came near.

B - Electric shot. The Pichu Bros. would fire two electric shots at someone. Obviously, if one of them had been knocked off, there would only be one shot.

B-Side - Lighting Charge. Kind of a combination of Samus's B and Kirby's B-Up, the Pichu Bros. would charge up and fire a beam out in a straight line.

B-Up - Pichu Acrobatics. The Pichu Bros. would cling together and roll themselves upward. Kind of a combination of both Samus's and the Ice Climbers' B-Up. The two would flip upward in a somewhat screw-like manner and then hurl each other towards the course.

Thoughts?

No big deal. I hate double threads too, I appreciate that you're trying to cut down on them.

Its a good idea. This way Pichu is in for the fans of him and yet he wont suck. And whats cuter then Pichu? Only two Pichu are. :D I like the idea but I think Plusle and Minun (sp?) from Ruby/Saphire will suit better as a duo Ice Climber like since they are supossed to be togheter and they are from the 3th generation. Perhaps the Pichu Bros. are a good costume for them?

Plusle and Minun would most definitely be better than two Pichus. Although I don't really care for either.
It wouldn't really be a thing about attacks because they are all electric. Plusle and Minun are just a teenie bit cooler than 2 pichus. (It seems uninspired IMO)

as a team i wouldn't mind them or plulse and minum

but even though i regret saying this because i dont often like being the troll-like person i hate pichu alone so much i would rather have riolu and lucario as one or through evolution as a character in brawl than "it"... sorry

So lets see here, we've got Pichu, Plusle and Minum, Raichu, Pachirisu, and now two Pichu's? Is that the best the Pokemon series has? Is that the message we want sent off to people who play SSBB but have never played a Pokemon game? That it's all electric rats?

I hope Sakurai didn't even give them consideration. The truth is a roster like this would be fine:

Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and Pokemon Trainer.
